I opened the door to the classroom and as expected all eyes were on me. But instead of contempt it was tons of unsolicited pity! Ugh, what a fucking pain. They were all so quick to turn their back on me so it wasn't like things were going to change suddenly.
"Melody," a nervous looking girl approached me. "We had no idea! We were under the impression that you were just fine. We thought everyone got along well enough here. Sorry I didn't notice what was going on."
I lifted my lip in digits at her. I didn't know this girls name but she was a Delaney follower. She was there laughing when it was me on that dog leash but she claims not to have noticed? What about what happened looked like getting along to her?
"Same here I'm sorry!" Another girl spoke up suddenly. She was there watching as well.
"Me too."
Ugh. "It's whatever. There's no need to feel guilty if you are telling the truth that is." I glared at the girls who automatically looked guilty as hell.
