Mornings in this house were never normal.
And today?

I had barely stepped out of the room when I heard his voice from behind.
"Jay."
I didn't turn immediately.

"I need help."
That tone.

Too planned.
I turned slowly.
"What kind of help?"
He was standing there, looking completely serious.
"I have to bathe."
I blinked.
"…And?"
"And I have one working hand."
Silence.
Then—
"No."
He frowned slightly.
"What do you mean no?"
"I mean no."
"I can't manage properly."

"I'll fall."

He sighed like I was the problem.

His expression changed instantly.

"Of course," he said.

I stood there, arms crossed.
"Quick," I said, "and don't move too much."
"I wasn't planning to."
"You always plan something."
"Not today."
I didn't believe that.

"Careful," I said, adjusting slightly.

" Okay fine.....then I will manage and then my plaster will get wet and then I have to again go for check up just because my wifey doesn't care"

Then he insisted that I should also bath or else we will get late. This is the last time I am bearing him from next time I will just squeeze and pinch his hard reindeer so he doesn't get on my nerves and come back to his senses.
After we were done bath I made him wear his clothes he was blackmailing me dramatically.
That's why ci.n is our son.
After we both get ready we went to have breakfast.
The moment we stepped out—
"WE WERE BORED—"
Felix's voice hit first.
Then everyone.
Ci.n literally jumped onto the couch. "SURPRISE VISIT."
"You broke in?" I asked.
"No, we knocked."
"You didn't wait."
"That's optional."
David walked in dramatically, holding snacks.
"I brought food."
"You brought junk," Keifer replied.
"It's emotional support food."
Keiren laughed.
"Valid."
Keigan sat down quietly, observing everything like always.
Within seconds—
The house was loud again.
Games started.
Arguments started.
"YOU CHEATED AGAIN—"

Ci.n turned to Keifer.
"You are not playing."

"No," Ci.n said seriously, placing a hand on his shoulder, "you are our class president. How can you do any work?"

Then everyone laughed.
Even Keigan.
I smiled.
Jay's pov
I looked around.
Everyone laughing.
Shouting.
Fighting over nothing.

Sitting there.
Watching.

It felt like something else.
Like this wasn't temporary.

Home.
After one or two hours, the chaos slowly faded.
"Okay, we're leaving," David said.
"Finally," Keifer replied.
"Rude."
Ci.n hugged me quickly.
"Don't forget me."
"I won't."
"You will."
"I won't."
He narrowed his eyes.
"Suspicious."
Then they all left.
Silence returned again.
But softer.
"Jay."
I turned.
Keiren was standing there.
"Come with me," he said.
"Where?"
"Outside."
"Why?"
"Because I said so."
I laughed slightly.
"…Fine."
The park was quiet.
Simple.
Peaceful.
"You're different," he said suddenly.
"From what?"
"From what I expected."
"…Good different or bad different?"
"Good."
I smiled slightly.
"You take care of him properly," he added.
"I try."
"No," he said, looking at me properly, "you actually do."
Silence.
"…He needs that," he added.
I didn't reply.
But I understood.
Keifer's pov
Where did they go?
I checked the time again.
It's been too long.
"They just went out," Keigan said calmly.
"That's not the point."
"They'll come back."
Silence.
"…You're overthinking," he added.
"I'm not."
"You are."
I exhaled slightly.
Maybe I was.
Jay's pov
When we came back—
He was already standing near the door.
"Where were you?" he asked immediately.
"Park."
"With him?"
"Yes."
Silence.
"…Okay."
That was it.
I walked past him.
"I'm making something," I said.
"Again?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because I want to."
In the kitchen—
I started baking.
"You're doing too much," Keigan said from behind.
I turned.
"…You're complaining?"
"No," he said, stepping closer, "I'm observing."
"Then observe quietly."
He smirked slightly.
After some time—
Cake was ready.
Everyone gathered.
Keiren grinned. "This is why I like her."
I blinked.
"…That was fast."
"Food matters."
Keigan took a bite.
Silence.
Then—
"…It's good."
I smiled slightly.
Night came quietly.
Everything slowed again.
He stood near me.
Close.
"You disappeared," he said.
"I came back."
"That's not the same."
I looked at him.
"…I'm here now."
Silence.
Then—
He stepped closer.
Careful.
Slow.
Not pulling.
Not forcing.
Just there.
And with that I kissed him.
I can't control when I saw his pink juicy lips. Just he should not know that I want to kiss him badly the whole day.
I gave him medicines and after that we felt asleep.
I was sleeping a little away so I don't hurt him.
But he had different plans and pulled. He also as facing my back.
He nuzzled deep between my neck and shoulders.
