Chapter 393 – Call of Justice
The Museum guards wasted little time on idle talk. Having witnessed the scale of destruction across their own domain firsthand, they knew instantly this was beyond anything they could handle alone.
Without much hesitation, they escorted Cassius, Meadow, Diaila, and William — the only survivors of the heist — back to the museum.
The captain of the guards, a short, plump woman with a hard expression, made it clear they'd need to be questioned about what had happened.
There was no getting around it. They had no other witnesses, and they wanted as much information as they could gather.
Cassius and his teammates didn't object. Diaila and William had no reason to. They were entirely innocent.
Meadow and Cassius were confident their masks had kept them unrecognized. The only real risk was the Museum digging directly into their memories.
But who in the world would dare go through the memories of Meadow Wealth or Cassius Desdemona?
