Yvonne knew this. She had drummed up sponsorship for the laboratory with her professor when she was still in medical school. She had seen how difficult it was at the time. It was difficult for an accomplished academician like her professor, not to mention those fewer known ones. Naturally, it was much more difficult. "What about the hospital? Doesn't the hospital have special funds? Have you applied for it with the hospital?"
Stanley said, "This is my research project and has nothing to do with the hospital."
Hearing this, Yvonne nodded knowingly but was unavoidably worried. Stanley smiled and comforted her, "It's okay. Don't worry, things will work out and there will be a way."
Hearing this, Yvonne did not continue. Soon the car stopped in front of the Riverside Apartment. "Here you are," Stanley said.
Yvonne came to her senses, glanced out of the car window, and then unfastened her seat belt, "Thank you for taking me back." Stanley nodded.
