James' eyes only stayed on her for a moment and then he looked away. There were plenty of other girls out there. He was not a person without self-respect, so why waste his time on a woman? However, he found her being followed by a man out of the corner of his eye, and the two of them walked in talking and laughing. James couldn't help it and look over again.
Only then he found that the man was the one he had seen in the hospital. James couldn't help clenching his fists. He could tolerate her not liking him and her ruthless rejection, but he couldn't tolerate her affection for another man, especially when that man was not as good as him. Sam noticed his gaze and looked over, and saw Yvonne coming in. She froze, "Mr. Taylor, do you know her?"
James gritted his teeth and looked away. "No." He picked up the water glass and took a sip unhappily. Sam didn't think much, and just said, "Excuse me, I'll go to the bathroom."
