Ziven, the God of Wind and Sky, landed on Planet C6, a realm of ice and iron inhabited by Viking warriors. He was immediately challenged by Bjorn Stormblood, a rival who wielded a Yellow Ring of Dominion. Bjorn believed that willpower was the only true law. He didn't just want to kill Ziven; he wanted to break his spirit.
Ziven found that his own Yellow Ring responded to his defensive nature. It reshaped itself into "Skytyr," a long, energy-based Viking halberd. The two engaged in a clash of wills that shook the glaciers of C6. Bjorn's attacks were fueled by rage, while Ziven's were fueled by precision. The rings fed on their combat, growing more powerful until the sky itself began to tear under the pressure of their combined willpower.
Bjorn's ring eventually overloaded, his obsession with dominance causing the power to backfire and shatter his weapon. As Bjorn collapsed, Ziven stood over him, refusing to strike the killing blow. "Power is not taken," Ziven said, "it is mastered." Time froze, and the Watcher appeared. He took the Yellow Ring from the unconscious Bjorn, noting that Ziven's restraint made him the most dangerous of all the gods. Ziven was then pulled away, leaving the frozen Vikings behind.
