In the hallway of Gu University of Arts, a girl is walking to her class with her friend when she is attacked by a swarm of bees-- COUGHS-- sorry, by a crowd of girls.
"Jiwoo! ARE YOU AND MINHYUK DATING??"
Then another.
"IS IT TRUE THAT YOU ARE MINHYUK'S GIRLFRIEND?"
And many questions like that kept coming. Yes! That Jiwoo girl, it's me. But I'm not dating Minhyuk. This guy is my sworn enemy. He's just trying to find ways to mess with me again. I mean we don't fight literally but he just annoys me. And right now, he's done exactly that. I take a big breath and smile, not genuinely-- to the girls who asked me these questions and now are waiting for my reply.
"I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. But that 'good for nothing guy' is not my boyfriend. Rest assured. You still have a chance to be his girlfriend."
As I said that, the girls started to squeal happily, feeling better after knowing that their crush is still single. One by one, they started to leave. I looked at my friend Ahyeong, who's currently using her phone, not paying attention to what's happening around her. I slightly nudged her shoulder making her look at me.
"Are they done?"
She asked with a dull expression. I nodded. Then we went to our class. We are early birds. So, we had half an hour before the teacher comes. I entered the class and saw that good for nothing guy resting his head on his desk. There's a seat empty behind him. I go there put my bag on it and sit down.
You know what, before sitting down, i smacked his head then sat down. He hissed and looked up. He turned his head and glared at me. But i'm the non-chalant queen So, i ignored his gaze and used my phone. He tapped his finger on my desk.
I look up at him, acting like i don't know why he's called me. He looked so annoyed. Well, that's what you get for being a pain i the ass.
"Why did you hit me?"
He asked with that annoying tone of his. I wanted to smack his head again because he's acting like a fool he is. But i remained calm and asked him in that same tone,
"I don't know. Do you know why i smacked your head?"
"I don't know that's why i'm asking."
"Ok! Since you're asking nicely, i'll tell you why. You have to answer me this. Why did you spread the rumors of you and me dating when clearly, we're not?"
I asked him and he got confused.
"What? I didn't do it. Why would i? Blehh~ You're not even my type."
I don't have time for his shit.
"Well, you're fangirls said that. They asked me today that 'are you dating Minhyuk?' And i had to clear up everything before they lost control."
"Girl~ you've got the wrong person. That's not me. I don't know who spread the rumors. You know me for almost a year now. I wouldn't have time to spread rumors like these."
Well, he has a point. He's an airhead. But he wouldn't do something like that. I hate it when he's right.
"Fine! I was wrong. I shouldn't have did that. But still, you deserved that."
"Why?!"
"Because you always annoy me!"
"QUIET ! Both of you."
Our small bickering was put to a stop when we heard Ahyeong's loud voice.
Minhyuk just rolled his eyes at her and turned his head away, back to resting it on the desk. The class was now completely silent. There were still ten minutes left before the teacher arrived.
So, i got on my phone and scrolled a few reels. I found one of the reels funny. So, i nudged Ahyeong's arm to show it to her. She just nodded her head. She didn't even pay attention to what i showed her. She's been busy with her phone for so long today. I wonder what she's doing. I just peeked a little but she immediately turned it off and glared at me.
"Mind your own fucking business for once!"
She said with a stern tone. Ok, i didn't expect that sudden burst. Minhyuk, when he heard what she said immediately turned behind and glared at her, like he's actually hurt at what she said more than me.
"What?"
Ahyoeng asked in an annoying tone. Minhyuk just shook his head and sat straight because the teacher entered the class. No matter how annoying he is, he's always good at what he does.
For example, annoying people, studies, painting, this good for nothing guy is good in painting. Well, me too. But the teachers like his paintings more. I mean, I hate to be honest right now. But his paintings are actually good.
Anyways~ back to the current situation. Why did Ahyeong get so angry? She's never acted like that. Lately, she's distant, like she's with me but she doesn't talk to me. Just glued to her phone. At first i thought that she might not want to tell me, she'll tell me when she's ready but today, today was harsh.

I was walking out of my class, ready to go home. Surprisingly, today was peaceful because after that, Minhyuk didn't say anything to me. But Ahyeong's sudden coldness is bothering me.
She didn't talk to me the whole day after that sudden outburst. I tried to ask her what's wrong but...
In last lecture,
The last lecture's teacher wasn't here yet.
"Ahyeong-ah! Tell me, what's bothering you? You haven't talked to me for the who--"
She didn't even let me complete my sentence and got angry.
"Jiwoo, can you shut up for once. Stop being a pain, i'm already so tired of you."
Ouch- that hurts.
