Finally I could eat food. The whole day had continued with the relentless teasing and pranks of section e.

Finally some peace and quiet.

I was eating happily, because food, when a figure blocked me.

"Well, well look who's here. If it isn't little miss section e"

It was meridith. Of course it was. Because the universe hated my peace.

"Can't a person eat in peace around here?" I replied sounding extremely bored and annoyed. Because I was.

"Listen little girl, if you want to survive here you have to survive me. So stay away from Kiefer and maybe I'll let you live."

Oh yeah..him, the annoying idiot. Because the universe hated me I was assigned to sit right next to Kiefer, the grumpy and complete asshole of a class president, so meridith, who had a crush on him, considered me a rival.

Jokes on her. The guy doesn't even smile. At anyone. It's like he's some sort of breathing statue screaming NOT MY TYPE. But I'll give it to him..he looked very handsome.

"Good to know. But I don't care. Nor am I interested in stealing your boyfriend. Now if you don't mind I don't usually waste my time in unnecessary things"

Meridith literally looked like she could kill me. But before it could escalate I stood up and walked back to my class. And as usual, chaos invited me.

"Jay jay! You're back! What did meridith want with you?" Ci n asked.

"The usual.. warning, threatening, and bullying. That is to say absolutely unnecessary drama."

"What did you say?"

"That I had better things to do than to waste time there"

"You're really something jay. No one had ever talked to her like that. You better brace yourself." Felix said sounding as if he had already expected this from her.

"Yeah I figured." I replied as I took my seat next to the king of asshole. Right on cue a annoying high pitched voice screached

"Kiefeerrr!"

I sighed. Here we go again.

She went straight to him and clung to his arm.

"Kiefer! This girl disrespected me! She called me a waste kief!"

The guy didn't even react. He just sighed with his usual brooding i'm-so-done-with-life expression and turned to look at me.

I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Dramatic much?"

"Kiefer! She's calling me dramatic! You. How dare you do that? You will regret it."

"Really? I'm terrified. Atleast I have a spine."

"Are you calling me dependent?"

"Great! You understand English."

"I'm very independent"

"You're currently clinging to someone's arms complaining about a new girl who came 3 days ago. Right, very independent, I can totally see that." I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Stop. Both of you. Meridith, why aren't you in class." Kiefer said, finally speaking.

"Because I missed you baby" She replied.

I bit my lip trying not to laugh. She was all over him and he didn't even bat an eye. Seriously, doesn't she have an ounce of self respect?

Kiefer noticed me trying not to laugh and shot me a look of clear warning to not laugh. I burst out laughing. Meridith narrowed her eyes at me. I just shrugged back.

"Don't call me that. And go back to your class. It is about to start." Kiefer told her.

"Yes babe" she replied. She turned her attention back to me.

"You. Stop trying to win Kiefer over."

"Newsflash- I'm not interested in your man. He's not my type. So please, calm down and stop bothering me. I don't have time to deal with jealous girlfriends."

She just raised an eyebrow at me and left, stopping long enough to give me one last glare.

Finally peace. "That was very...loud, and unnecessary" I said. David just snorted but didn't reply. He mostly stayed quiet in class..or he'd just sleep. Then our mathematics teacher entered, and the class settled down, well, straightened up a little... Maths, ever the headache. I was really good at academics though. Llke I-try-college-applications- for-fun-and-get-accepted level good.
