A week had passed.
Things were going smoothly, to say the least.
After the little shopping + photography session William and I had, it was like something in my brain clicked. Something that reminded me that this was an arrangement made between the two of us and it needed to stay that way.
Which was why I put an end to unnecessary things like being overly friendly, lingering in his doorway or finding myself in his office when we had to work late, having conversations instead of simply pulling each other's clothes off. I even made a conscious effort to zoom off when we closed, before he even had the opportunity to impose a ride on me.
I wanted things to feel as contractual as possible.
