About two weeks had gone by.
Things were going quite seamlessly, to say the least.
Quincy finally got the courage to block Carlos on everything and delete that part of her life for good. She was still healing from everything but she had been able to get past the part where she wasted away crying every day.
I also prioritized making time for Sophie. I tried to be more intentional about initiating calls and conversations, and just being more interested in her life basically, other than simply just providing for her.
Things at work were great. William handled everything discreetly just like he assured. We moved past it quickly and continued to act like the well oiled machine CEO and secretary duo that we always were—contain ourselves during work hours, rip at each other's clothes when it was just us.
