Chapter 46 - ''Blood And Revelation''{46}

**Chapter 46: Blood and Revelation**

The white moon no longer gave light.

It took it.

**Willowbrook High School – Ruined Courtyard**

Kevin and Lucifer collided again in a shockwave of white-blue energy and ancient darkness that shattered every remaining window in the main building. The ground cracked beneath their feet. Students who had not yet escaped screamed and scattered.

Lucifer moved with terrifying calm, each strike precise and heavy with centuries of power. Kevin met him with raw, unstable Rampager force, the Mythical Matrix burning through his veins like liquid starlight. Neither had landed a decisive blow yet. Both were still testing.

Then a shaking voice cut through the destruction.

"Stop."

Ivan Petrov stepped forward from behind a collapsed pillar, face pale but eyes locked on Lucifer. His hands trembled, but his voice did not.

Lucifer turned his head slightly, irritated. "You are not part of this."

Ivan swallowed hard. "I know what you need."

Lucifer's eyes narrowed. "What?"

"The Hellhound," Ivan said. "The Sin of Hatred. I can find him for you."

The air went still.

Lucifer fully turned now, dark wings shifting. "What are you?"

Ivan's voice dropped into something smoother, more dangerous, the fear still present but no longer controlling him. "A Siren. I can manipulate people with my voice… with ease."

For the first time since arriving, Lucifer looked genuinely interested.

Kevin's energy flared hotter. "Ivan—don't."

But the offer had already been made.

**Guardians of Destiny Headquarters – Main Hall**

Rona never saw the blade coming.

The Hell Knight moved through the chaos like a force of nature and carved a deep, burning line across Rona's chest. The Sin of Seduction gasped as blood sprayed. Before anyone could reach him, the Hell Knight seized him by the throat and dragged him across the floor like a broken doll, heading for the nearest open portal of black iron and fire.

"RONA!" Ofentse's roar shook the hall.

Bane Mugabe and Loki Nyden moved at the same time.

Bane's fist crashed into the Hell Knight's armored side with enough force to crack the floor. Loki shifted mid-stride into a bladed, multi-limbed form and slammed into the Knight from the opposite angle, trying to force it to release Rona. The three of them became a violent, tangled storm of steel, shapeshifting flesh, and burning armor.

More Hell Guards erupted from the floor in fresh waves.

One of them drove a jagged spear straight through Blinkstrike's shoulder from behind. The Viking teleporter gasped, blood bursting from his mouth as his latest teleport failed. He dropped to one knee.

Jayse the Caveman saw it happen.

He roared and slammed into the Hell Guard with a full surge of residual Cave Beast power. Stone-like plates exploded across his arms and back as he crushed the enemy against a pillar. The force saved Blinkstrike—but a second Guard used the opening to drive a blade deep into Jayse's side. Jayse staggered, blood pouring, but refused to fall, still shielding his injured friend.

On the other side of the hall, Poison and Khaos Hyde engaged Titurus directly. The Sin of War laughed as their combined chaos-toxin assault met his endless battlefield aura. The three of them tore into one another with enough force to collapse an entire section of the ceiling.

Then Koa moved.

The air around him shimmered. A new animal spirit erupted from his body in a wave of desert heat and sand-colored light—the Desert Wolf. Larger and more aggressive than any spirit he had used before, it howled as it charged into the Hell Guards, giving the Guardians a sudden, fierce opening.

Godfrey Garowney, Daniel Ywong, and Huxley Vane immediately adjusted to the new momentum. Cohen shouted orders. Damon and Tiago pushed forward. Devonte laid down covering fire. The entire headquarters fought with everything it had left.

The Hell Knight still would not release Rona.

Bane and Loki attacked with increasing desperation, trying to break its grip before the portal could fully form.

**Willowbrook High School – Inside the Main Building**

The moment Ivan's revelation hung in the air, the rest of the school erupted.

Wyatt grabbed a metal bat from a broken sports closet and charged into a group of lesser Hell creatures that had spilled through with Lucifer. Every swing was fueled by pure protective rage. Bangu fought with insane physical prowess, slamming enemies into walls hard enough to crack concrete. Ri Kwon Jae moved like a true vampire—speed, fangs, and blood manipulation cutting through anything that came near. Lupin Stillfang fully transformed into his eight-foot werewolf form and tore through the opposition with primal fury. Ignis unleashed wide arcs of fire. Lancelot controlled the battlefield with precise, nonchalant water constructs that crushed and drowned enemies without wasted movement.

Then the far wall exploded outward.

Ben—the quiet, terrified school coward who had spent every previous crisis hiding—stood in the rubble. His body was changing. Bones cracked. Fur and demonic scales erupted across his skin. Horns pushed from his skull. In seconds the coward was gone, replaced by a roaring demon-werewolf hybrid that radiated pure terror.

It attacked everything in sight.

Mr. Dudley, the teacher who had tried to shield students, was caught across the chest by one massive claw and thrown into a row of lockers with a sickening impact. Vladimir Solokov stepped in immediately, silver elf magic forming glowing barriers and binding runes in an attempt to hold the new monster back.

Outside, tires screeched.

A car door slammed. Wyatt's father, Moses, stepped out with a shotgun. Kevin's father, Kyle, followed with a rifle. Gwen came last, pistol already raised. The three adults ran into the burning school without hesitation.

They did not get far.

Sally Dodger's body was suddenly launched down the hallway like a missile, slamming into a bank of lockers hard enough to dent the metal. She slid to the floor, unconscious.

R. Dodger stepped into view, no longer hiding inside anyone.

The real presence stood free.

Moses, Kyle, and Gwen opened fire without a word. The three of them engaged R. Dodger in a brutal close-quarters fight of bullets, experience, and pure parental fury.

**Guardians Headquarters – Turning Point**

The Hell Knight finally forced the portal wider.

Bane landed a crushing blow to its knee. Loki drove every bladed limb he could form into the armored joints. Koa's Desert Wolf tore at its back. For a moment it looked like they might break its hold on Rona.

Then the Hell Knight roared and slammed both Bane and Loki away with raw demonic strength. It dragged the bleeding, barely conscious Rona into the portal.

The black iron gate began to close.

Ofentse screamed his name.

The portal sealed with a sound like a coffin lid.

Rona was gone.

Taken.

At the school, Kevin's head snapped toward the distant sensation of Rona's disappearance even while still locked in combat with Lucifer. Ivan stood frozen between them, the weight of what he had just offered settling across his shoulders.

Lucifer smiled for the first time.

"Good," he said softly to Ivan. "Then make yourself useful, Siren."

The war had just changed shape again.

And the cost was already climbing.
