Xavier's POV
The knock on my office door was sharp, impatient.
"Come in," I called out, rubbing my temples.
The door flew open with such force it bounced against the stopper and I was so damn surprised to see Hailey walking in, with her police uniform crisp and immaculate.
The dark blue fabric hugged her curves in all the right places, her badge gleaming under the fluorescent lights and her hair was pulled back in a severe bun, not a single strand was out of place.
Lets just say she looked every inch professional, and she had no-nonsense officer vibe, a vibe I didn't see all weekend when we spent time together... She looked nothing like the woman I had spent the entire weekend fucking senseless.
