Jenny, standing beside Roy, had seen everything that just happened.
She saw Roy raise his hand with her own eyes, and saw the blue light emanating from his eyes.
That was definitely not an illusion.
Tommy's miraculous falling trajectory was the work of this young man.
Jenny's heart was pounding.
She turned to look at Roy, her eyes filled with shock and curiosity.
"You..." She opened her mouth, wanting to ask something, but swallowed her words.
Now was not the time for questions.
But the curiosity in her heart grew like wildfire.
Who exactly was this man named Roy?
How many more secrets did he have?
"The most important thing right now..." Jenny took a deep breath, "...is to deal with those Team Rockets poachers."
Roy nodded, his gaze locking onto that giant mechanical Kangaskhan again.
The mechanical Kangaskhan was still rampaging, its mechanical arms whistling as they swung.
Two more Kangaskhan were caught in the iron cages.
The Kangaskhan in the cages huddled together, letting out shrill cries.
Those cries were full of fear and helplessness.
The two of them rushed out from behind the bushes at the same time.
Jenny pulled a Poké Ball from her waist as she ran.
"Arcanine! I'm counting on you!"
With a flash of white light, a massive Arcanine appeared in the clearing.
It let out a sky-shaking roar the moment it appeared, its presence intimidating.
"Use Fire Fang!" Jenny commanded.
Arcanine kicked off the ground, its body shooting forward like an arrow.
It opened its large mouth, teeth wrapped in scorching flames, and bit toward the mechanical Kangaskhan's leg.
"Hmph, overestimating yourself!" Inside the cockpit, James sneered.
He pulled a lever, and the mechanical Kangaskhan raised its left leg, kicking at Arcanine.
Arcanine dodged the kick with a nimble flash.
But the mechanical Kangaskhan immediately swung its mechanical claw, grabbing for Arcanine.
"Arcanine, dodge it!" Jenny shouted.
Arcanine dodged again, but the strong wind from the mechanical claw still ruffled its fur.
This machine's power was too great; a direct head-on collision wouldn't work.
At this moment, Roy also made his move.
He threw a Poké Ball.
"Pidgeot, come out."
With a flash of white light, a giant Pidgeot spread its wings and took to the sky.
Its size was a full two sizes larger than a normal Pidgeot.
Its wingspan exceeded five meters, and the wind generated by its flapping wings could knock people over.
Pidgeot let out a sharp cry and soared straight into the clouds.
Its shadow covered the entire clearing, casting a large area of darkness.
Inside the cockpit, Meowth was the first to see it.
"Meow~ Look at how big that bird is!"
It pressed against the window, its eyes wide and round.
Jessie leaned over to look, and her face instantly changed.
"Such a huge bird..." She stared at the Pidgeot on the screen and gritted her teeth: "It must belong to that twerp!"
"No one else has such a massive bird except for that twerp!"
The more Jessie thought about it, the angrier she got, and she slammed her fist onto the console.
"That wretched twerp! Why is he everywhere!"
As she was cursing, she suddenly felt the machine stop moving.
"What's going on?" Jessie was stunned.
James quickly checked the various instrument panels.
"We can't move, meow!" Meowth looked down from the window, "Something's wrapped around our feet, meow!"
The three of them looked down together.
They saw the mechanical Kangaskhan's two feet were completely entangled in emerald-green Vine Whips.
Those Vine Whips were as thick as an adult's arm, tightly locking the machine's ankles.
Following the Vine Whips, they saw a small Bulbasaur.
The Bulbasaur stood on the ground, the bulb on its back glowing slightly.
Its eyes were bright and spirited, its limbs firmly planted on the ground.
That tiny body actually burst forth with astonishing power.
The mechanical Kangaskhan tried to lift its feet, but it couldn't move them at all.
Those Vine Whips were like they were cast from steel, unmoving.
"James!" Jessie turned and glared, "Didn't you brag about how powerful this robot was?"
She pointed at the Bulbasaur on the screen.
"How is it trapped by a tiny basic Bulbasaur?"
James looked innocent.
"I don't know either!" He spread his hands, "Theoretically, it's impossible for a Bulbasaur's Vine Whip to trap this machine!"
He flipped through the operation manual, sweat appearing on his forehead.
"This mechanical Kangaskhan has three thousand horsepower!"
"Three thousand horsepower?" Jessie sneered, "Then move it!"
James wiped his sweat, suddenly thinking of something.
"Wait..." He looked out the window, "That Bulbasaur... couldn't it belong to that twerp?"
Jessie was taken aback.
"You mean..."
"Exactly!" James slapped his thigh, "Which one of that twerp's Pokemon is normal?"
He started counting on his fingers.
"That Pikachu's Thunder Shock is more powerful than a Raichu's. That Pidgeot is many times larger than a normal one!"
"They're all freaks!"
After hearing this, Jessie's expression became even worse.
"Ugh~ How is this twerp so powerful with both big and small ones?"
She paced back and forth in the cockpit in frustration.
"We finally managed to get such a big machine, and yet we're still countered by him?"
"Could this be a cheat code, meow?" Meowth sighed.
"Shut up!" Jessie snapped, then walked to the hatch.
"Hey, twerp, you're being too much!"
She shouted outside, her voice echoing across the clearing.
"Only you're allowed to catch Pokemon, and we're not?!"
"Even when we're trying to catch these wild Pokemon ourselves this time, it's still not okay?!"
Before Roy could speak, Jenny stepped forward.
She took two steps forward, looking up at Jessie in the cockpit with a sharp gaze.
"Team Rockets!" Jenny's voice was filled with anger, "This is a Reserve!"
"The Pokemon here cannot be caught or battled!"
She pointed at the iron cage, which held seven or eight Kangaskhan.
"What do you mean 'catch'? This is poaching!"
Jessie was stunned.
She turned to look at James in the cockpit.
"Eh? You can't catch Pokemon in a Reserve?"
James was also stunned.
He scratched his head.
"I thought you knew?"
Meowth spread its paws.
"I thought this was another great villainous operation, meow."
"Turns out it was an operation of ignorance, meow."
Jessie's face turned red, then she waved her hand.
"Oh, who cares about that!"
Her expression became fierce.
"Since we've already caught them, we can't just let them go, can we?"
"Since it's a bad deed, it fits our mission perfectly!"
She put her hands on her hips and laughed loudly.
"We, Team Rockets, were bad guys to begin with!"
"I won't let go of the Pokemon I've gotten my hands on!"
She pulled a Poké Ball from her waist.
"Go, Ekans!"
With a flash of white light, a purple Ekans appeared in the clearing.
It flicked its tongue, making a "hissing" sound as it slithered toward Bulbasaur.
Bulbasaur looked up, staring warily at Ekans.
But its Vine Whips were still tangled around the mechanical Kangaskhan, and it couldn't free itself.
Just as Ekans opened its large mouth, ready to attack, a massive black shadow dove down from the sky.
Pidgeot's speed was incredible; its wings tucked in, its body shooting down like an arrow.
Before Ekans could react, it was snatched up by Pidgeot's claws.
Pidgeot's claws dug deep into Ekans's body, making it writhe in pain.
But Pidgeot didn't give it a chance to struggle.
With a sudden flap of its wings, its body rose from the ground.
Ekans was carried into mid-air.
"Ekans!" Jessie cried out.
Pidgeot circled in the air and then gave a violent toss.
Ekans's body was thrown out, tracing an arc in the air like a rope.
With a "thud," Ekans was accurately thrown back into the cockpit.
It crashed into Jessie, sending the three of them tumbling over each other.
"Ouch!" "That hurts!" "Meow!"
The three of them were piled up in a pathetic state.
"Curse you!" Jessie climbed up from the floor, pushing away the Ekans on top of her, "That stupid bird!"
She rushed to the console, wanting to operate the mechanical Kangaskhan to counterattack.
But the mechanical Kangaskhan still couldn't move.
Bulbasaur's Vine Whips were locked tight.
"James!" Jessie roared, "Do something!"
"I'm trying! I'm trying!" James frantically pressed various buttons.
At that moment, Pidgeot took to the sky again.
Its wings fully expanded and began to flap.
Slowly at first, then faster and faster.
The air began to move, and the wind began to howl.
The sky had turned dark at some point.
Dark clouds surged from all directions, covering the sun.
The air became humid and heavy.
A rainstorm was imminent.
Pidgeot's wings flapped faster and faster, and the wind force grew stronger.
Hurricane.
And it was a Hurricane charged to its limit.
In this weather where a storm was about to break, the power of Hurricane was exceptionally great.
The air was churned, forming visible vortices of airflow.
Trees were blown sideways, and gravel on the ground was swept up and scattered everywhere.
"Oh no!" James cried out, "This wind is too strong!"
The mechanical Kangaskhan began to sway.
Although it was very heavy, it began to lose its footing in the face of such an intense Hurricane.
Bulbasaur sensed the opportunity.
It let out a low Growl, and all its strength burst forth.
The Vine Whips suddenly tightened, then gave a forceful pull.
The mechanical Kangaskhan's center of gravity was already unstable, and with this pull, it completely lost its balance.
The massive mechanical Kangaskhan began to tilt.
"It's falling, it's falling, meow!" Meowth screamed.
"Steady! Steady!" Jessie pulled the control levers desperately.
But it was no use.
The mechanical Kangaskhan crashed to the ground.
Its massive body hit the ground with a deafening roar.
Even the ground trembled.
Dust rose everywhere, and debris flew.
"BOOM!!!"
An explosion.
The mechanical Kangaskhan's body blew apart.
Flames shot into the sky, and thick smoke billowed.
Three figures were blasted out of the thick smoke, flying toward the horizon.
"We're blasting off again!" ×3
...
The deafening explosion of the mechanical Kangaskhan still echoed.
The firelight turned half the sky red, and thick smoke continued to rise.
The Team Rockets trio turned into a shooting star in the distance, disappearing over the horizon along with their classic line about blasting off.
The clearing fell silent for a moment.
But only for a moment.
The herd of Kangaskhan, frightened by the mechanical Kangaskhan, were still fleeing in all directions.
The iron cage had been blown open, and the Kangaskhan inside ran out in a panic.
A mother Kangaskhan was frantically searching for her child.
Roy let out a breath, and a system prompt suddenly sounded in his mind.
[Reserve Mission: Assist Officer Jenny in driving away the poachers and help find the child Tommy lost among the Kangaskhan herd—Completed!]
[Rewards being distributed...]

Roy was about to close the panel when he suddenly felt the ground beneath his feet vibrating.
"Hmm?"
Roy looked up, his face changing.
The explosion was too loud; it had startled the wild Pokémon throughout the Reserve.
It wasn't just the Kangaskhan herd.
From deep within the forest came more footsteps and more roars.
A herd of Tauros charged out of the forest, eyes red, rampaging blindly.
Behind them followed a large number of Pokémon of all sizes.
Beedrill, Scyther, Rhydon...
All of them were fleeing in panic because of the explosion and fire.
The entire Reserve had turned into a chaotic mess.
"This is bad..."
Jenny's face turned pale.
She stood in the middle of the clearing, surrounded by stampeding Pokémon.
The Kangaskhan herd charged from the left, and the Tauros herd crashed in from the right.
She was trapped in the middle with nowhere to hide.
Those massive Pokémon could trample a person to death in a single step.
"Officer Jenny!"
Roy shouted.
Jenny turned to look at him, her eyes full of terror.
She wanted to run, but her legs had gone weak.
The ground vibrated more and more violently.
The footsteps of the Kangaskhan sounded like beating drums, deafening.
Just as a massive Kangaskhan was about to crash into Jenny, a pair of strong hands grabbed her waist from behind.
Jenny's heart skipped a beat, and she subconsciously tried to struggle.
But when she smelled that familiar scent, with a hint of sweat, her body instantly went limp.
It was Roy.
"Don't be afraid."
Roy's deep voice sounded in her ear.
Jenny felt her heartbeat inexplicably steadied itself.
That strong arm held her waist, pulling her whole body into his embrace.
She could feel the warmth of Roy's chest through their clothes.
And his powerful heartbeat, steady and strong, beat after beat.
"Hold onto me."
Roy's other hand also came around, securing Jenny in his arms.
Jenny's cheeks flushed, and she obediently reached out and hugged Roy's neck.
Her body was pressed tightly against Roy's, with almost no gap between them.
Psychic power activated!
A blue light glowed in Roy's eyes.
His body began to blur, and the surrounding space distorted.
The next second.
"Whoosh!"
The two of them vanished.
A Kangaskhan charged through where they had just been standing, hitting nothing but air.
...
The sensation of teleporting was strange.
Jenny only felt her vision go dark, then light again.
The sound of wind, rain, and running Pokémon instantly shifted direction.
She opened her eyes and found that she and Roy had appeared on the other side of the forest.
But they weren't safe yet.
There were also Pokémon rampaging here.
Several massive Rhydon burst out from the bushes, knocking down several small trees.
Roy frowned and activated Teleport again.
"Whoosh!"
The two of them disappeared again.
This time, they appeared in an open area.
But it started to rain.
Large raindrops pelted down, pitter-pattering, becoming denser and denser.
The clouds hung low, and the sky was as dark as evening.
In the distance, the sounds of running Pokémon and roars could still be heard.
The chaos continued.
"No, it's not safe here either."
Roy gritted his teeth and activated Teleport for the third time.
Blue light flickered.
"Whoosh!"
The two of them appeared in a strange place.
On one side was a dense forest, and on the other...
Was a cliff.
A bottomless cliff.
Gray-white mist rose from the bottom of the cliff, making it impossible to see the bottom.
Only a few crooked trees jutted out from the cliff wall, swaying in the wind and rain.
