There were 30 minutes left before the heir announcement started.
To celebrate the big event of the Louvremonts, nobles from all across the empire had gathered, fully filling the Farinelli mansion.
The event hall was decorated in a much more modern style than I had thought.
On either side of the long carpet running through the middle which Abel would march on, there were dozens of fancy round tables.
Looking at how five to six aristocrats were seated per table, it looked almost like a party of high society that I’d seen in movies in my past life.
It wasn’t entirely wrong to call it that either, All the aristocrats gathered here were quite the hotshots within the empire. They are like heads of the major companies, to compare.
In the midst of all that, the fact that there was a seat for the likes of me next to important people like the emperor and the empress, the crown prince, Duke Louvremont and the Grand priest, was truly astonishing.
