Chapter 89 - Chapter 89: The Fusion of Mana and Psionic Power

When he realized that a second magical riot had occurred, Harvey knew he had successfully broken through.

He carefully retracted his spiritual power.

The items floating in the air slowly descended, returning to their original places.

"Phew, the mana in my body seems a bit unruly, so hard to control."

It took five minutes to draw the external spiritual power back into his body, and Harvey wiped away a cold sweat.

After this breakthrough, his mana seemed to have evolved into a higher level of power.

Just then, he caught sight of a familiar scepter on the floor nearby from the corner of his eye.

The empty hole at the tip of the scepter seemed to explain everything.

"Why is the Mind Scepter here?"

"Does that mean the yellow stone in my sea of consciousness is the Mind Stone?"

"So my mana has fused with the power of the Mind Stone, no wonder it's so difficult to control."

Harvey fell into deep thought.

Even Thanos needed the Infinity Gauntlet to restrain the power of the Infinity Stones.

For him to fuse with the Mind Stone using a wizard's constitution was truly a miracle.

"So, the Big Bang that happened in my sea of consciousness wasn't a hallucination."

"Six Infinity Stones... could this be some kind of prophecy?"

Harvey thought about how, for powerhouses of Odin's level, images appearing in dreams usually meant some form of prophecy.

Now that his strength had reached the Skyfather level, the Infinity Stones appearing in his sea of consciousness definitely held some special significance.

"Could it be that, in the grand scheme of things, I need to collect all the Infinity Stones to break through to the next realm?"

The more he thought, the more chaotic his mind became.

Harvey shook his head, temporarily clearing his consciousness.

Thanos, having collected the six Infinity Stones, reached the Single Universe level.

If he needed to fuse with all six to break through to the Single Universe level, it seemed quite logical.

"It seems that even if I'm not doing it to stop Thanos from snapping his fingers, I still have to collect the Infinity Stones."

Realizing this, Harvey felt a sense of resolve.

He stood up, put the scepter—now missing its stone—back into his spatial bag, deactivated the protective charms, and walked out of the underground base.

Cho Chang and Wanda, who had been waiting outside for a long time, immediately turned their curious gazes toward Harvey.

"Darling, you're finally out!"

"We almost thought you had died in there."

With his strength elevated, Harvey was in an excellent mood, joking with a chuckle, "What, were you afraid of becoming widows?"

The familiar, roguish tone confirmed to Wanda that this was indeed her own bastard of a man, and she finally relaxed.

"You scared us to death. you stayed in there forever, and strange psionic fluctuations would leak out occasionally."

Harvey didn't want to mention the pain he had experienced, but noticing the women kept saying he had been in there for a long time, he asked curiously, "How long has it been since I entered the chamber?"

Cho Chang replied, "Exactly two months!"

"What?" Harvey's expression changed. "You're not joking, right?"

Wanda directly pulled out her smartphone and showed him the date on the screen.

"Here, see for yourself."

"Shit!" Harvey remembered that Voldemort back in the Harry Potter world hadn't been dealt with yet, and he didn't know if Hermione could handle it.

"Alright, you two have worked hard guarding me for so long. Go back and get some rest. I have to head back to Hogwarts."

Just as he was about to open a cross-world portal, Harvey seemed to remember something and called out to the two women who were turning to leave.

"By the way, behave yourselves during this time. Don't go out playing superhero when you're bored."

Cho Chang and Wanda paused their steps, left behind a simple "Got it," and continued out of the basement.

Although the women's tone was perfunctory, Harvey didn't have time to lecture them and hurriedly opened a cross-world portal.

...

Hogwarts Castle.

The scorching midday sun was baking the entire school until it emitted heat haze.

Many grim-faced students were hurrying between the various towers of the castle.

Harvey walked through the main gate, through the Great Hall, and into the dungeons. He found the old bat in his office before he even had a chance to ask about the recent situation in the wizarding world.

The moment Professor Snape saw Harvey, he stood up anxiously and said:

"Where have you been? You suddenly vanished for two whole months. If you hadn't come back, the wizarding world would have been overturned by Voldemort!"

Harvey said awkwardly, "I took a physique-enhancing potion and was unconscious for two months. How is the situation now?"

Professor Snape rapidly went over the events of the past two months in the wizarding world.

"On the very night you left, three Voldemorts appeared simultaneously, attacking the Ministry of Magic, Gringotts, and Azkaban Prison respectively..."

Hearing this, Harvey couldn't help but interrupt, "Three Voldemorts? Professor, I didn't hear that wrong, did I?"

Professor Snape nodded, his tone grave. "You did not hear wrong. To strike back, Voldemort used his Horcruxes to resurrect two versions of himself."

"After that night, all the prisoners in Azkaban were released, and the vast majority chose to follow Voldemort as Death Eaters."

"Furthermore, a large number of Ministry officials were murdered. Even the Minister for Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour, was killed by Voldemort."

"Even the goblins at Gringotts couldn't escape. They were all slaughtered by Voldemort, and all the wealth stored in the vaults was plundered."

Harvey grew more alarmed as he listened. In just two short months, Voldemort had managed to cause this much trouble?

Professor Snape continued.

"You must realize that nearly every wizard has assets stored in Gringotts."

"Many wizards, upon realizing they had suddenly become paupers, couldn't accept the reality."

"They abandoned their morals one after another, joining the Death Eater army in hopes that Voldemort would return their wealth to them."

"Not only that, Voldemort hasn't been idle during these two months. He's been leading the Death Eaters to commit atrocities on a massive scale."

"Countless Half-blood wizards have been brutally murdered. Now the entire wizarding world is in turmoil, and the situation is nearly under Voldemort's control."

Harvey frowned and interjected, "Did Dumbledore not step in to stop this?"

Professor Snape explained, "Because there are three Voldemorts, the Headmaster doesn't dare leave the school lightly. He's worried the cunning Voldemort might take advantage of his absence."

"For these two months, it's been Miss Hermione Granger and the resistance led by Harry Potter struggling against the Death Eaters."

At this point, Harvey understood everything.

"While I was away, Voldemort actually dared to show his face and start a war. I'm going to kill him right now. Professor, do you know where the Death Eaters' base is?"

Professor Snape thought for a moment and shook his head. "I have rarely left the school lately. You should go ask Miss Hermione Granger."

"Over these two months, her fame has skyrocketed. People are calling her the 'Angel of War'."

"Without her in the front-line battles, the wizarding world would likely have fallen by now."
