Chapter 85 - Chapter 85: The Ron and Harry Duo Come Calling

After getting used to drinking beverages with special magical effects, Harvey fell in love with the drinks of the wizarding world. Every month, he would come to the Three Broomsticks to buy a batch.

Spending fifty Galleons to restock his spiritual nourishment, he walked out of the Three Broomsticks and continued down the snow-white street.

He stopped in front of a three-story, peak-roofed brick house filled with medieval architectural style.

Harvey fished a brass key out of his wizard robes' spatial bag. After unlocking the door, he pushed it open and walked in.

A roaring fire burned in the living room fireplace, driving away the chill in the air.

Hermione, wearing a deep blue knit sweater, a wool scarf wrapped around her neck, and brown straight-leg trousers, had her long legs propped up on a stool.

She was taking a nap on the lounge chair next to the fireplace.

Harvey walked over and pulled off a copy of Origins of Ancient Charms that was covering Miss Know-It-All's face.

"Hey, wake up!"

"You don't even stop reading magic books when you're dreaming, do you?"

Hermione groggily opened her eyes. Seeing it was Harvey disturbing her sweet dreams, she got angry.

"Go away, go away. Don't bother me while I'm napping. Go find Cho Chang or your maid!"

Her tone carried a heavy dose of resentment; clearly, her morning crankiness was not insignificant.

Harvey picked up the pouting Miss Know-It-All in a princess carry. After sitting down on the sofa, he softly comforted the beauty in his arms.

"Don't be mad. You are all my wings, and I can't do without any of you. Has anything major happened in the wizarding world recently?"

"Bastard, don't touch me! You already have three pairs of wings, and you're still not satisfied?" Hermione scolded while squirming constantly to resist.

But as she resisted, she suddenly felt the presence of his 'magic wand', and her pretty face rapidly flushed red.

Cursing "Oh no!" under her breath, she didn't dare struggle anymore.

Having his lust stoked, Harvey naturally wouldn't let her go. He picked her up and headed towards the bedroom.

"No..."

Soon, the beauty's coquettish moans echoed from the bedroom.

After the storm passed.

Hermione collapsed completely onto the bed. The flush still lingering on her cheeks was enough to show just how intense the battle had been.

"The Death Eaters haven't shown their faces recently, have they?"

"Mnn... no. Harry and Ron have been keeping an eye on them the whole time."

"So, is there any progress on your Portal Charm research?"

"Stop moving around, behave yourself! I gave up on researching the Portal Charm a long time ago. I reckon only a wizard who has actually been to that world can learn Portal magic."

"Perhaps it's because the fundamental nature of the magic is different. The wizards in the wizarding world simply cannot comprehend the concept of dimensions..."

The two lay in bed whispering sweet nothings to each other until dusk fell, before finally getting up reluctantly to take a shower.

At dinnertime, Harvey kept Hermione company as they ate at the dining table.

"Ding—dong!"

The doorbell rang.

It turned out to be Harry and Ron coming over for a visit together.

"Hi, what brings you guys here? Want to grab dinner together?" Harvey greeted them.

"No need, we've already eaten, thanks."

Seeing that Harvey was also there, Harry Potter and Ron replied with joyful faces.

Harvey invited the two of them in for coffee. After scarfing down a few more bites of food, he stood up and walked into the living room.

"Did you guys come specifically looking for me?"

After taking a seat on the living room sofa, Harry Potter and Ron got straight to the point.

"We investigated and found out that Voldemort finally can't hold back anymore. He plans to lead the Death Eaters and force his way into the school in one week!"

Harry Potter said with absolute sincerity, "When the time comes, I hope you can help us hold off Voldemort, Harvey."

"What? Where did You-Know-Who get the guts?" Hermione, who had just finished using magic to clean the dishes, heard this shocking news the moment she walked out of the kitchen.

Harvey also felt it was strange and asked curiously, "Is the source of this information accurate? Voldemort managed to survive in hiding for so long. Why would he suddenly want to fight to the death now?"

Ron explained, "Just yesterday, we caught one of Voldemort's most loyal followers, Bellatrix Lestrange, in Knockturn Alley."

"Then we used Veritaserum and Legilimency to extract Voldemort's plan from Bellatrix."

Hermione was still in disbelief. "I think this must be a trap set by Voldemort. With Professor Dumbledore there, how could he dare lead the Death Eaters to storm the school?"

Harvey never underestimated figures who had once unleashed a reign of blood and terror upon the wizarding world.

"Even intelligence obtained through Veritaserum and Legilimency isn't necessarily 100% accurate."

"What if Voldemort even deceived his own people, deliberately leaking fake news, when in reality he has an ulterior motive?"

Hearing this, Harry Potter fell deep into thought. This speculation wasn't impossible. He muttered,

"If this news is fake, then what is Voldemort's true objective?"

Ron, who never liked using his brain, voiced his own guess.

"I think you guys are overthinking it. Maybe You-Know-Who has just had enough of this miserable life of hiding."

"With his pride, he couldn't endure this predicament any longer and wants to make one final, desperate struggle."

"After all, if he doesn't risk his life, what else can You-Know-Who do?"

Harvey fell silent. His intuition told him that Voldemort definitely had another scheme.

Storming Hogwarts held absolutely no benefit for Voldemort.

Setting aside the fact that the success rate of this plan was extremely low, let's ignore reality for a moment. Even if he managed to successfully break into the school...

Then what?

Besides making all the wizards in the wizarding world fear his existence once again and bolstering the reputation of the Death Eaters, what could he gain?

Every action a smart person takes has an underlying motive that forces them to do it.

Harvey didn't believe Voldemort was an idiot.

"We will meet whatever comes our way."

"Don't worry, Ron. If Voldemort has truly gone mad, I will personally step in and send him to see Merlin!"

Hearing this, Harry Potter felt greatly reassured and said with a light, cheerful tone:

"That's wonderful. With you here, plus Headmaster Dumbledore, no matter what scheme Voldemort has, he can never possibly succeed!"

Ron suddenly blurted out a sentence.

"Hey, do you guys think Voldemort might be trying a diversionary tactic? What if he actually wants to attack the Ministry of Magic or Gringotts?"

Hermione looked surprised and teased, "Since when did you get so smart, Ron? I always thought you didn't even have a brain."

Being mocked about his intelligence in public, Ron looked highly depressed. "I've always been very smart, okay? Before, I just felt that there was no need to waste time using my brain on problems that could be solved with strength."

Harvey delivered a coldly sarcastic, heart-piercing remark.

"But you don't have strength either, do you?"

Dark lines formed on Ron's forehead. "Cut the crap. We're discussing major events here. Be serious!"

Amused by her friend's clumsy attempt to change the subject, Hermione smiled and said:

"Oh, well, since you think Voldemort might attack the Ministry of Magic or Gringotts, Ron..."

"Then you can go set up defensive traps in advance. When Voldemort steps right into them, it will prove your incredible foresight."

Although Hermione's tone carried a faint hint of sarcasm, Ron, missing a screw in his head, completely failed to pick up on it.

Instead, he slapped his forehead in sudden realization. "You're right! You're so smart, Hermione. I'll go prepare defensive traps right now..."
