Chapter 74 - The Cosmic HOA

Pantheon Estates - Dimension Sub-Lot 402]

Archmage Vildor, former ruler of the Northern Wastes, breathed a sigh of deep, contented relief. He had paid fifty million Pantheon Tokens for this private, prefabricated dimension. Here, there were no wars, no noisy peasants, and no rival wizards.

He had just finished using his ancient magic to erect a towering, jagged citadel of black ice in the center of his flat, green dimensional lawn.

"Perfect," Vildor muttered, admiring his terrifying new fortress.

Suddenly, a sleek, obsidian Pantheon Prime portal ripped open on his front lawn.

Seraphina stepped out. She was wearing her sharp, dark business attire and carrying her silver clipboard. Pinned to her lapel was a new badge: President, Pantheon Estates Homeowners Association.

"Greetings, Archmage Vildor," Seraphina said coldly, her heels clicking against the generic green grass. "I am here regarding several critical violations of the Pantheon Estates CC&Rs."

"Violations?" Vildor scowled, his hands crackling with frost magic. "This is my private dimension! I bought it!"

"You purchased the localized spatial rights, subject to community guidelines," Seraphina corrected, pushing her glasses up her nose. She tapped her pen against the clipboard. "Violation one: Unapproved Exterior Modifications. Your jagged citadel of black ice does not conform to the approved community color palette of 'Neutral Beige' or 'Starlight White'."

Vildor stared at the Dark Elf in absolute disbelief. "Color palette?! I am a master of the dark arts!"

"Violation two," Seraphina continued flawlessly, completely ignoring his magic. "Your summoning circles are emitting necrotic energy past 8:00 PM standard astral time, constituting a universal noise disturbance."

Seraphina ripped a long, golden receipt from her clipboard and handed it to the stunned Archmage.

"You are being fined one hundred thousand Tokens for the aesthetic violation, and fifty thousand Tokens for the noise disturbance," Seraphina smiled a ruthless, corporate smile. "You have exactly twenty-four hours to paint your citadel beige, or the HOA will place a lien on your dimension and legally repossess it."

"You dare dictate the aesthetics of my realm?!" Vildor roared, unleashing a massive volley of razor-sharp ice spears.

Seraphina didn't flinch. The Tycoon's Ledger projected an invisible barrier of financial law that instantly shattered the ice spears into harmless mist.

"Violation three: Assaulting an HOA Board Member," Seraphina scribbled on her clipboard. "That is an automatic five hundred thousand Token penalty. I strongly suggest you visit the local hardware store for some beige paint, Archmage. Have a productive day."

Seraphina stepped back through the portal, leaving the terrifying, ancient Archmage trembling with helpless, bureaucratic rage on his pristine lawn.
