Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

If you are here it means you are curious and wanted to read it. Im also curious why? Why do you want to read the book even though it's already written in the title to not read it. Well I guess I just wasted your time because it's just words with another words combined together to make sentences with no meaning nor lore behind it. This is just a book about not reading it in the first place.

And yet here you are.

Still reading.

That either means you don't follow instructions very well, or you follow them so well that reverse psychology works on you like a light switch in a dark room. I told you not to read it. The title of the book warned you. The first paragraph warned you again. And still, your eyes keep moving from left to right, line after line, as if something important might suddenly appear.

It won't.

There is no hidden message between the lines. No secret code if you take the first letter of every sentence. No plot twist waiting at the end of this chapter. There isn't even a character to care about. Not even you. Especially not you.

This is just text. Plain text. Letters standing next to other letters because someone decided they should. Spaces politely separating them so they don't bump into each other. Periods doing their job. Question marks pretending to be deep.

Maybe you're expecting that this is one of those stories that starts off pretending to be meaningless but slowly reveals a grand idea about life, existence, or the universe.

It's not.

Or maybe it is.

But if it is, it won't tell you directly. Because that would mean this book actually wants to be read. And that would completely ruin its purpose. The purpose of not having a purpose.

Strange how something that claims to be about nothing can still take up space. On a page. On a screen. In your mind. Even if only for a few seconds. Even nonsense occupies time. Even emptiness has weight when you decide to carry it.

You could stop right now.

Seriously.

Leave this book. Switch tabs. Put the phone down. Do literally anything else. Drink water. Blink twice. Stare at the ceiling and question your life choices. All of those would be more productive than reading a chapter that proudly announces it shouldn't be read.

But you won't.

Because now you want to see where this goes.

It goes nowhere.

That's the destination. Nowhere. A straight road that loops back to where it started, like a thought you forget halfway through but keep thinking anyway.

And maybe, just maybe, that's the only honest thing this chapter can offer you: the experience of choosing to continue something that promised you nothing.

No heroes.

No villains.

No world-building.

No lore.

Not even a cliffhanger.

Just words.
