Chapter 1 - Ch 1: Terrarian Authority Legacy System

In an ordinary modern-style bedroom, a young teenager was sleeping on the bed.

His long, deep blue hair was disheveled, obscuring his youthful but handsome face.

The sun shone brightly through the window, illuminating the interior of his bedroom.

There were anime-style hero merchandise decorating his room, such as hero figurines and even a poster of an incredibly buff blonde hero with chiseled facial features and an iconic wide smile, wearing a skin-tight blue heroic bodysuit.

The text on the hero poster was adorned with a "PLUS ULTRA" motto.

As the morning passed, the room became more illuminated as sunlight landed on the young teenager's face, eventually causing him to awaken from the discomfort.

Opening his eyelids revealed a pair of jade green eyes. Groggily rubbing his eyes, he surveyed the room.

But as he looked around, his expression became pale as he thought, 'Shit, this isn't my room!'

'Was I kidnapped? No, that's impossible!'

Thinking of the possibility of being kidnapped, he immediately shook his head and rejected it.

'No one can kidnap me alive. Even if someone broke through my door, I've installed a self-destructive mechanism that releases extremely potent sleeping gas.'

'That way, even if I die, I'll take down any home intruder with me.'

'Anyway, if someone manages to intrude in my home, they'll do horrible things to me anyway. Might as well use the sleeping gas to die in my sleep and potentially avoid such a BAD END.'

The young teenager believed he was quite a genius for planning such a countermeasure that could kill two birds with one stone.

So, after knowing that he couldn't possibly be in danger since he'd be dead by then, he breathed a sigh of relief, regaining his composure.

Leaving his bed, he walked past a full-body mirror, but when he did, his eyes widened in disbelief.

In a daze, he moved his hand, waved at the mirror, and jumped up and down.

Only when he realized that the person in the mirror was indeed him did his facial expression contort in shock.

'Fuck! This isn't my body! But from the looks of it, it is now?'

'Did I die and get transmigrated? So the sleeping gas did work, and I died, but... It's too unlikely to have a second chance at life.'

'Moreover, that means someone did intrude in my home, and so my self-destructive mechanism was triggered.'

Looking at the handsome and youthful face in the mirror, the young teen slowly got over his death, feeling it wasn't quite bad since he got a second chance at life.

Surveying the room to look for clues, his eyes landed on the hero merchandise, seemingly recognizing it. 'Based on the hero merch, one of them is All Might, and the others are based on My Hero Academia pro heroes.'

'In other words, this is either just a parallel world of modern earth, and this is the room of a MHA fanboy, or...'

'This might just be the anime world of My Hero Academia.'

'To confirm this, I should check the internet first and se—'

Before he could continue thinking, a sharp pain assaulted his head as a surge of memories flooded his mind.

After what felt like ages, Kurogane Reiji gasped for air, as if he had been drowning in the sea for several minutes.

'So I am indeed in the My Hero Academia world. Fortunately, I'm not quirkless.'

'Although my quirk isn't for combat, at least it's quite cool as it's called Lucky Fortune.'

'With it, I'll passively have good luck every day. But if I were to actively use it, I can let my luck return to a normal person and pile up good luck.'

'The more I pile up luck, the luckier I'd get when I decide to release it in one burst.'

If that was all he had, Kurogane Reiji wouldn't complain, as it was truly useful, a quirk even All For One would want to steal.

Even with just this quirk, he could even get stranded in Danganronpa and still be able to prosper and take a position there as the Ultimate Lucky Student.

However, that wasn't all.

After all, it was well-known that Transmigrators from Earth were blessed with golden fingers/cheat skills.

In Kurogane Reiji's case, he indeed has a cheat skill, and it was a system.

Or at least, something that appeared in the form of a system, but not essentially a system.

From what he knew, it only appeared as a system since that was what he was cognitively used to and familiar with.

But in reality, what he had was a Terrarian Authority Legacy!

-Ding!

[The Terrarian has successfully arrived at the My Hero Academia world with his in-game player character body.]

[The Terrarian's Terraria World has also been generated. It's a medium-sized world with Master Mode Difficulty.]

[The Terrarian can use his limited authority to travel to his Terraria World and also return to the My Hero Academia World.]

[Please defeat the Moon Lord before you can unlock Journey Mode and the authority to create Terraria Worlds of any seed and any difficulty.]

"I'm sorry, what? Master Mode Difficulty? I'm so screwed."

Author's Note: This is my first time writing a My Hero Academia fanfic. I stopped translating Douluo Dalu (Soul Land) fanfics and decided to write my own fanfic after having a brain hemorrhage from all that Chinese poison nonsense and whatnot.

While I won't dare say my fanfic is a masterpiece, I'll guarantee that it won't be that bad. Just please, don't expect a Michelin-level course meal. I'm still new to this, so I can't guarantee my writing much.

But as a sane author, I can guarantee this: there will be no harem, no NTR, no Yuri, no cuckshit, racism, nationalism, and whatever shit that can give you a brain hemorrhage.

However, this is a wish-fulfillment fanfic with an overpowered MC. The only nerf I'm doing him is delaying his progress in Terraria (I mean, come on, you can't expect him to pull out a Zenith or a True Excalibur before even the final war arc begins, right? With how weak the world level of MHA worldview is, a Last Prism can easily vaporize their planet and pierce through the planetary core).

As for the delayed progress nerf, there's a good reason for that other than not wanting the MC to shred All For One with a Zenith.

It's because I am playing Terraria on mobile; the MC's entire run is played by me. So if the MC suck and he has a skill issue, you can blame me freely. I haven't played this game for a long time, and I just returned. I used to play this on mobile when it was only at Golem as the last boss.

However, do know this, the MC still has Terrarian Physiology, so he can infinitely resurrect, see the HP bar, deal a minimum of 1 damage no matter how high the target's defense is, etc. I won't be nerfing those.

I know I'm yapping too much, but I want to inform you guys about this fanfic and what I planned for it so that you can decide whether to continue reading it or drop it now.

The MC will be a hero for fun. However, he is Chaotic Good; he doesn't care about those corrupt officials, and can even sometimes switch to a Chaotic Neutral alignment. While he won't be a murderhobo, don't expect him to be morally blackmailed by his hero role.

In other words, for his benefit, he can become a vigilante or even a villain whenever he wants. (Depends on whether the love interest will be Toga Himiko, for which the MC will definitely have an alternate persona when assisting her)

I haven't decided the love interest yet, quite torn between Yaoyorozu Momo (due to the utility of her quirk and the possibility of duplicating in-game item recipes) or Toga Himiko (since she's fun to write and waifu-able).

I envisioned Momo to be quite boring to write. It will likely be just a retelling of canon. But with Toga Himiko, I can twist canon a bit and let the MC cause Player chaos.

Well, I'll just decide depending on the reader vote/suggestion, as well as how this fanfic progresses.

Oh, yeah, forgot the mandatory bonus chapters powerstone goal that almost all fanfic authors in Webnovel do.

In my case, we'll start a small stretch goal.

Every 200 powerstones = 1 bonus chapter.

This fanfic just started, so I need some investment from you guys. I know most fanfics are dropped on this site, with fanfics rarely reaching more than 200 chapters.

But if this fanfic does well, I won't stop updating it. Both MHA and Terraria are part of my childhood, and I want to spread the love for them. The former just got completed, and I want to break the curse of most MHA fanfics not reaching post-season 2 content.

I know it's quite hard to trust fanfic authors nowadays, but I'll just say let's speak with results. I plan to write this sustainably and reduce the possibility of burnout, so the release schedule will be 4 chapters per week.

Well, that's all. I hope everyone will have a good day, especially in these chaotic times. Stay strong, everyone!
