I stared at the two choices for a moment… then decided to choice later because right now I'm not in the mood for that.
Meanwhile I make a little talk with the guild employees and adventurers present and simply gather important information that the old don't know.
And to summarise it simply, it's really messed up.
First the current situation with the huge amount of Demon Lords. And yes there are nearly 15 in current activity, and it makes me think of something that be confirmed immediately after.

- The Great Jura Forest
Only this two were enough to confirm my doubts. The Tensura verse is also added in that mess.
And it seems that there no sudden disappearance of him for now. Which is not even sure because that information was not disclosed publicly in the canon.
And when I recall the power scaling of that verse, aA little concern to begin to manifest itself.
(Well, there is no point in worrying about this situation, for the moment, I would see better to become stronger in this period.)

After a moment at the guild, I decided that I would rather research for a place to sleep tonight rather than looking around.
And why I don't take any quest ?
Well, I'm just a bit tired of the last two days and I really don't want to do something right now.
However, I take a look at the quest board and it looked pretty possible. And also see the quest request that Aqua have made, and it gives me a idea.

Finally, I quickly left the adventurers' guild as if I had accomplished my primary objective.
After leaving the guild, I started looking for an inn or a place that could accommodate me, despite my limited budget.
I spent a good amount of time wandering through Axel's streets, asking questions here and there, trying my luck with the innkeepers.
Unfortunately, none of the establishments have any place for me or some proposed me to stay with them in their rooms.
Exe just drains them to the bones in thanking for the proposal.
Finally I ended up placing my camp in a fairly clear place where there are accessories a stable in the area, for lack of anything better during my searches.
The only positive side was at least having a well-deserved bath at the town's public baths.
Where dragons and flying swords are sadly not allowed.
The hot water had somewhat soothed my mind, but not enough to forget my situation.
After that, I join my camp and start to serve at Rex the last meal we have had in the pot.
And while he was eating like that the first time, I take a look at my current card and at the different skills I can have.

A really huge number for a stater if I recall properly.
And certainly enough to define a direction.
I read the list of skills available, and I didn't hesitate long before making my choice.
I decided to choice Talent Channeler, Evaluation Look, Silent Tactician.
And except that I take the skills whose utility are pretty obvious.
I think that the two other are not really needed for now.
I tapped in all the three skill.
Fourteen points disappeared instantly.
A thin sensation spread from my chest outward—like threads extending, searching—
—and then locking into place.
And immediately after I exactly knew what each skill do.

I steadily focused my attention in Exe, I pull him into my hands and hold it firmly in my handle.

I exhaled softly.

The guild reward notification I had ignored earlier resurfaced in my mind.
I quickly open the interface and decide to choose the Cursed Box.
Right now, there are too much immediate priorities than gambling with the future.
The guild, the rumors, the Demon Lords, the Jura Forest, the implications of that entire mess—
Too many moving pieces for randomness, and there are certainly no low level mob in that mess.
I clicked the option 2.

(If Rex and Exe grow during this week… they might actually benefit enough for that.)
But more importantly—
(Silent Tactician would matter far more than in any simple 1 VS 1, so I need to know how to use it properly in the meantime.)
I glanced at Exe.
Then at Rex.
"…So you two, here me out."
I caught their attention.
" The next week will be pretty busy for you guys and I need you to be sufficiently strong to sweep any Pokemon we might fight."
They looked at each other like they didn't know of what I talk before nodding.
"Ok now go to sleep."
I take out each of there pokeball.
Rex disappeared into his Pokéball with a short, confused rumble, like he didn't fully understand why "sleep" suddenly involved instant spatial compression.
Exe followed without protest.

Two small clicks of containment.
Silence returned immediately after.
I stepped into the tent and began to lay down on the bed to sleep.
For a moment, nothing moved.
Then—
The Battle Pass still lingered in my thoughts.
(If it's truly "Luminos City," then I might maybe participate into the plot.)
With that thought in mind I quickly drafted into the world of sleeping.
