Mikhail rubbed his head, trying to fight through the burning pain that was trying to eat away at his mind.

'….What the hell am I looking at?'

He couldn't help but wonder as he stared at the blue screen in front of him.

Of course, he had the basic idea from the novels he had read in his previous life, but he never thought it would be true.

'Where the hell was this in the last two years?'

He grumbled to himself, but he already knew the answer.

The system had only woken up when he touched the orb.

Still feeling the pain, Mikhail let out a soft groan as he sat beside Kevin.

The event was at its end, leaving behind some happy and some depressed students.

Kevin had a concerned look on his face, stealing glances at Mikhail.

"It's alright, brother." Kevin said, patting his back. "Don't think too much, you still have me."

"You are not my girlfriend." Mikhail said, slapping his hand away. "Stop acting all emotional, it's creepy."

Kevin opened his mouth before closing it with a sigh. The look on his face told Mikhail that he was making up some story with him as the damsel in distress.

"Alright!!"

Professor Alan's voice echoed within the auditorium, grabbing everyone's attention.

"I congratulate all those who awakened, you are the future of humanity. And for those who didn't…."

Alan looked through the crowd until he found Mikhail.

"….You have a long life ahead. Do not let this be a setback that you can't overcome."

He clapped his hands. "Alright, you are all dismissed!!"

The students all stood up and began to walk out of the auditorium.

Today was a national holiday, for it was the birthday of King Julius Aegon I, who had created the Aegon Kingdom.

There were no classes today, so everyone walked towards the main gate.

Kevin placed his hand around Mikhail's shoulder. "Should we go for some ramen?" he asked. "We haven't eaten anything spicy in a while."

"Don't you have a family outing today?" Mikhail said, glancing at him.

"I will cancel it." He replied, shrugging. "I am sure they will understand."

"I am fine, Kevin." Mikhail replied, slapping his hand away. "Your father rarely gets a holiday, spend some time with him."

Kevin's father was the head secretary in charge of the security of the City of Sparrows.

He had once been a well known hunter but retired once he got married.

"The old man is washed." Kevin replied. "He isn't as cool as he once was."

Mikhail was about to rebuke when someone blocked their path.

He looked forward where Brandon Sanstan stood along with his goons.

"Well, well, well." He said with a disgusting smile on his face. "If it isn't the failure."

Mikhail rubbed his temples, already annoyed by his behaviour.

"What do you want?" He asked, looking at him without fear, and Brandon did not like that.

Since childhood he had been someone who was looked up to by everyone, and even now he was being admired and fawned upon.

Because of his father's position, there had never been an instance where he didn't get what he wanted.

The only one who had ever challenged his authority was the boy in front of him.

Brandon squeezed a smile onto his face.

"I have an offer for you, failure." He said. "Why don't you become my slave? I promise I will treat you well."

The two goons by his side laughed like they had heard the best joke. Brandon's smile loosened as well.

Mikhail tilted his head as if he had heard something unordinary.

"It seems you don't understand your position, Brandon." He took a step forward.

"I can sleep with your mother and your father will still happily accept it."

Brandon's smile died, and even the passing students stopped in their tracks.

"What did you—!?"

"Do you know why?" Mikhail cut him off, pointing at Kevin. "Because of him."

Kevin, who had been enjoying the show, pointed towards himself in surprise. "Me?"

"Do you understand what a King Class is?" Mikhail ignored him.

"Kevin is someone who has the same potential as the first King himself. Your father would kiss his feet, and by extension mine."

Kevin puffed his chest, unable to hide the grin on his face.

Brandon's white skin turned crimson with anger. He would have attacked Mikhail had he not noticed Ms. Linda on the corner.

"You will die a horrible death." He spat and pushed Mikhail aside.

Mikhail watched Brandon walk away without a word. He wasn't too concerned with his threat.

Kevin came back to his side, all smiles. "Damn, I forgot I was a big shot now."

Mikhail didn't say anything about him stepping aside, because he knew Kevin would have jumped in the moment things got heated.

"Don't be too arrogant or the higher ups will get you assassinated." Mikhail warned him. "Better to be kill a new grown seed that isn't a flower yet."

Kevin nodded seriously, as he knew the history of geniuses dying before reaching their full potential.

"Alright…." Mikhail said, stopping at the main gate. "Then I will see you on Monday."

Kevin smiled slightly. "Don't fry your brain thinking about the future." He said. "I am here."

"I am not the one with a toddler brain here." Mikhail replied, turning around. "Goodbye."

"Bye."

Kevin walked towards his house, which was on the opposite lane.

Meanwhile, Mikhail immediately opened the status screen with his thoughts as he walked down the street.

'Let's see, Outergod Class….'

Mikhail was having a hard time understanding what this was supposed to mean.

The highest class he had heard of was the Emperor Class.

There were classes like God Class and Angel Class but they were all in the myths.

'….How the hell do I have this absurd class?'

He wondered if this was related to his transmigration. A gift perhaps?

'Nah, nothing is free in this world.'

He put aside those thoughts for now and focused on the three skills he had gotten from the class.

'Normally, one class only gives one skill, but my class gave me three….'

Mikhail wondered if he would get three skills every time he ranked up.

Taking a deep breath, he focused on the first skill. The screen blurred and a block of text appeared.

[Enchantment: Can enhance the durability of things living or non-living.]

'…That's it?'

Mikhail frowned. It wasn't a bad skill but he had thought he would get something better.

He quickly got over it and looked at the next skill.

[Summon: Put a beast in the summon pouch to make it your familiar.]

'Summon pouch?'

As soon as Mikhail thought of it, a small space opened up in the palm of his right hand.

Mikhail quickly jerked his hand to disperse the pouch and looked around.

Thankfully nobody was paying attention to him.

He let out a sigh of relief and looked at the last skill.

[Steal: Kill a living being to steal their skill.]

"...."

Mikhail stared at the skill for a long second before he dispersed the screen.

'Killing, huh….'

Mikhail was not against killing, but only if it was in self defence. To kill someone just to steal their skill….

'I need to study about it a bit more.'

He let out a sigh and walked on with a lot of thoughts in his mind.

His home was only a few streets away from the public school, so he reached it relatively quickly.

Mikhail's family was middle class, with his father being a businessman.

Their home wasn't big, only two stories tall with six bedrooms, but it was enough for the whole family.

Taking in a deep breath, Mikhail opened the door.

"I am home."

"Uncle!!!"
