Chapter 93 - Chapter 94....

  Chapter 94.Second Year School Begins

"If anyone bullies you when you get there, you must write back."

"If the food is bad, or the accommodations are unsatisfactory, you must also write back."

"If any teacher at that school makes things difficult for you, you must tell me and your mother, don't hide it from us..."

Lynn, sitting in the back seat of the car, couldn't help but interrupt Mr. Granger.

"Don't worry, Uncle, nothing like that will happen. The atmosphere at Hogwarts is generally quite good, and I'll help take care of Hermione."

Hermione, sitting in the front, nodded in agreement.

"That's right, Dad, that's it. You don't need to worry too much."

Mr. Granger had prepared to take Hermione to the station early that morning, and Lynn naturally hitched a ride with him.

Although Mr. Granger didn't initially have a good impression of Lynn, he knew that in the unfamiliar place of Hogwarts, having someone familiar to care about him was better than nothing.

So he was still polite, bringing Lynn along on his way, and even invited him to come visit often during holidays.

Lynn didn't bring Umaru and Kira with him this time.

Lynn had seriously considered Umaru's future.

After all, her guardian was Kira, the house-elf, and now that Kira had fulfilled her old master's orders, she was completely obedient to Lynn, which meant Lynn had become Umaru's true guardian.

Letting her stay home all day eating, drinking, and watching TV might be fun, but it wouldn't benefit her future development in any way. A slow learner might be cute, but it wouldn't be good if she grew up to be slow.

Lynn originally planned to send her to a nearby Muggle elementary school to learn how to get along with friends and learn some natural science. As for her identity, Kira would help resolve that.

But after careful consideration, he abandoned the idea.

Sending Umaru to a Muggle elementary school would be too risky for her, and it might not even be a good thing.

For now, Lynn could only let her stay home. However, he bought many elementary school study materials and some science books, and instructed Kira to keep an eye on her, ensuring she had at least four hours a day to read and study.

While the material might not necessarily help Umaru become a wizard in the future, it would cultivate good study habits.

This would prevent her from becoming a lazy, good-for-nothing.

  As for Kira

, Lynn did want to bring it to Hogwarts. Once the original story officially began, Kira's identity at Hogwarts would be very helpful to his nascent plan.

Unfortunately, Kira said Dumbledore had dismissed it from Hogwarts, and its current status would be somewhat provocative if it entered.

Besides, it had to stay home to take care of Umaru.

However, if necessary, Lynn would still write to it to come to Hogwarts, and then there wouldn't be much to worry about.

At King's Cross Station, Mr. Granger helped them unload their luggage from the train and escorted them to the wall leading to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

"That's it, Dad. Don't worry, I'll be fine over there, and Lynn will help take care of me," Hermione said, giving her father a hug.

Mr. Granger thought to himself, "The more you say that, the more worried I become.

" "Your mother and I just want you to grow up safely," Mr. Granger patted his daughter's back, exchanging a glance with Lynn standing behind him. Lynn nodded, and he smiled back.

He'd let this "tool" look after his daughter for now, and then, when the time was right, he'd distance Hermione from him.

Mr. Granger comforted himself with this thought.

"See you at Christmas, Dad," Hermione waved goodbye to her father, then walked through the magical wall with Lynn.

They arrived early; the Hogwarts Express was already parked at the platform, but there weren't many people there.

Lynn helped Hermione put her luggage in the carriage.

Just then, Cedric's head popped out of one of the compartments. He saw Lynn and waved at him.

Lynn waved back, then turned to Hermione.

"Just like when I first boarded the Hogwarts Express last year, I had two upperclassmen guiding me. You also have two choices: one is to come with me, and I'll introduce you to my friends; they're all nice people. The second is that you can actively interact with the new students and try to make friends with them."

Hermione didn't choose first but asked Lynn.

  "Which one did you choose?"

"The second one. I found a compartment with only new students."

"Then I'll choose the second one too," the girl told him defiantly.

"Then go ahead. I doubt we'll be able to enter the castle together at Hogwarts. The way new students enter is different from the returning students every year, and there's a banquet afterwards. If you weren't sorted into Slytherin, you'd have to wait until tomorrow to see each other again."

Lynn didn't tell Hermione that last year he'd actually spent a day in a box with a cold new student. Although they later became friends, their initial interaction hadn't been very pleasant.

"Then we'll see you tomorrow." Hermione decided to part ways with Lynn at this point.

She already knew that Lynn was the best young wizard among the four houses in his year at Hogwarts.

She was also a competitive girl; at least among her classmates, she wanted to be the best and prove that as Lynn's friend, she, Hermione, was no less capable,

both academically and in terms of interpersonal relationships.

Unfortunately, she didn't know that Lynn had already been involved in two fights in just one year, indicating that his interpersonal relationships were rather poor.

They parted ways in the carriage.

  Lynn found Cedric and Ian.

They were eating snacks in the box.

The table was piled high with snacks, all Muggle treats brought by Ian.

Lynn glanced at them briefly and noticed that none of them were cheap; some he'd never even seen before, but the packaging alone suggested they were expensive.

Cedric was very excited about the food. He lived far from Muggles and had never seen Muggle snacks before; many were new to him.

"Where did you go after you went through the wall last time?" Ian still remembered that incident.

He had searched everywhere for Lynn, even having the people his family sent to pick him up go to the train station's public address system to ask for help, but they couldn't find him and had to give up.

  Lynn sighed.

"It's a long story, but it's alright in the end; you can still see me today."

  His past couldn't be revealed.

Grindelwald's reputation among wizards wasn't much better than Voldemort's; both were Dark Lords, only his main activities weren't in England.

Seeing that Lynn didn't want to elaborate, Cedric and Ian didn't press further and chatted about some interesting things that happened during their summer vacation at home.
