"I want him to become indispensable to her," he corrected. "Once she trusts him, the Andersons will open their doors themselves."
Simon considered the idea. There was something almost unsettling about how simple it sounded, yet he could not deny its elegance.
Penelope was protective of her family. She would be cautious, certainly, but she was also desperate enough to understand the importance of securing her family's future.
However, Sebastian was precisely the sort of gentleman society would consider suitable.
He was young, titled, wealthy, and respectable, everything Penelope would need if she were truly searching for a husband capable of rescuing her family.
Simon smiled, unable to help but feel his admiration for the man before him. "You have thought of everything."
