A network of protection begins to extend outward from Elle's eye, a set of sentinels and sub-sentiences which have their own processors which automatically respond and adapt to attacks. The eye and its sentinels are connected to the Tower's wishing and Pathing systems, and can adapt to attacks before they occur. They can also draw on wish energy to speed up their responses, revert changes past what should be possible, resolve conflicts that come from parts of the system being turned against itself, and anything else a wish can do depending on what would help improve or actively defend the system.
Next, a cloaking system is deployed, thread outlined in gold with purple netting that surrounds and obfuscates everything within Elle's system, able to be extended further outward if more threading is added to the pattern. A miniature version of this system is available for Angel to wear if she wishes, which should allow her the independence to venture out if she chooses without being seen and captured. A small fragment of the eye is also offered to her, which is quickly replaced with more thread before any harm can come because of the missing fragment. It is capable of growing into its own full eye if she accepts it into her core.
Miniature fountains, sources of Light, start to blossom into existence inside the system, something like wires running through them in order to spread healing and understanding throughout on an as-needed basis. They're defended by their own sentinels which draw upon them for ablative material and energy that can be used by them or the eye as defense at-will.
The anti-Pathing mechanism which fuzzes out hostile Paths expands in function. It becomes harder to predict Elle and her system in general with other methods. Measurements grow inconsistent with each other, coordinates seem to shift and change at random.
This system grows and reinforces itself constantly. The eye begins to draw on Elle's cognition to perform experiments and probe at potential weak points, and adapt to them without having to be attacked before it evolves. The more danger the Tower's guidance system senses in the near and long-term, the more of Elle's cognition the eye draws on, with a constant minimal baseline draw so that self-improvement of the fortress system never stops unless she signals a need for full cognitive capabilities for a set amount of time; i.e. "I want my full cognitive capacity for the next half-hour."

Patches of shifting negentropy rotate around the core. Elle begins to become something else, her pattern becoming a strange chimera focussed on promoting healing, understanding, defense, and self-improvement to itself and to anyone explicitly allowed inside, which as of now is only Angel, inner Hannah, and inner Sunset. Conflicts within the pattern are resolved using Elle's cognition, so long as it's not been changed without her consent; if it has, such changes are reverted and then decisions are made based on that mindstate where no unwanted alterations have been made.
