Elle becomes impossible to Path by forces with hostile intent. Such Paths become fuzzy and quickly go off-track, ending quickly in utter nonsense. Paths which were made with ill intent stray and go off track until they have no effect.
The cybernetic dragon and crystalline Elle with her fingers has grown said crystal by now, and has access to thirty threads. The fingers can self-replicate given enough energy, and she now has twenty-five of them.
The planes she's explored have been numerous and varied. She initially encountered one which greatly shook her, but she seems to have mostly bounced back from it.
Only complete versions of Elle and Angel are able to modify Elle's pattern. This is done through an automatic defense mechanism which activates and undoes any unwanted changes immediately based at the core of her pattern which defends itself first before undoing or defending against any other alterations.
It seems her children are attempting to kill her, the Tower ones at least. Stated was the fact that they intend to rip apart her pattern by tugging at loose and fraying threads until she comes fully apart.
Given the severe nature of the situation, Elle's pattern defense mechanism is complex, large, and encompassing, tracing every thread's past state in order to revert unauthorized changes if need be.

Okay so right now she's looking at my schedule and she's like that's a lot of work but she knows it's important so I trust you to do what you can to adjust so you're not drifting into that failure state where you're just endlessly consuming again.
