Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 - Disciple

The wind, cool. The sky, bright blue. The sun, dark red. Whole world was covered in blood, so it seemed. A man was standing in a grassy meadow. He stood like a spear rising from hell towards the heavens, wearing the skin of a supposed dragon. He stood undeterred, unchanged by the man gasping for air in front of him.

The man in front of him had tan, olive skin with rough and dark purple hair. The man sprawled on the ground, coughing and gasping for air, after he tried to punch him.

The punch was extraordinarily strong for him, even if it was from a mundane person with the strength of a Laity, the strength was far beyond his realm.

Thus the old man chuckled and said, "Blood of a devil, you say? Well then shed it on this battlefield to touch me. You still have hours left boy, come on don't you want to become my disciple?"

Elias, however, did not care what the hag had to say. Now that his element of surprise was rendered useless, he had to find more cards and tools.

Falling can equalize our speed, bright light can equalize our vision… I got it!

Elias stood up and prepared himself, asking in a rushed voice, "You won't attack or move your body, right?"

The old bastard tilted his head, "sure except from the hands, but you need to be smart enough to be worthy of your strength, boy, or it will get snatched away. Oh, how I envy- Oi Are you running away!"

I'll lure an Requim beast to distract him

Elias was running towards the tall grass where beasts or animals usually lived in meadows, since the grass could grow as long as 50 feet here.

"Alright, alright, boy, I get it; you can use your body and mind well," old man said softly, however even if his speech was calm and sweet, it thundered like lightning.

Elias did not stop running — at least he did not want to, but a huge butterfly had already picked him off the ground.

Elias, as strong as he may be, was completely powerless against it. Before long he heard a voice in his head.

[Do not worry, kiddo, I'll make you my disciple.]
