Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Fighting the Beast level Anti-human

The anti-human seemed to forget about its prey running away and faced the group of people running towards him.

Even though the anti-human was injured, it still had the pride and arrogance that it could defeat them.

That was both their strength and their weakness. They would keep fighting you to the very end as they did not fear death, but they would also fight to the end even if they were losing.

The anti-human immediately charged at the humans running at it.

"Pesky humans," the anti-human said in a hoarse and deep voice that sent a chill through one's spine.

The group of humans stopped.

"Did he just talk?" one man said.

Before he could finish his sentence, he was sent flying with a punch.

"Don't be distracted, maintain your formations," Adam shouted.

He was the leader and the strongest in the group.

He was at Rank A and had a skill set at B++.

He was the most powerful person there, and naturally they all took him as the leader.

He waved his hands, and fire seemed to burn on his hands, but it never burned through.

"Fire Element, Skill 1: Heat Blast."

After Adam said that, huge flames rushed towards the anti-human.

The anti-human didn't even bat an eye and just slapped the fire away.

"Damn, even though it is quite injured, it still has a lot of vitality," Adam thought.

The others didn't wait for the anti-human to attack and immediately rushed forward.

Another A-rank fire element user rushed onto the field.

"Fire Element, Skill 1: Flame Blades."

Lots and lots of flame blades rushed towards the anti-human.

It was able to dodge a few and slap a few away, but it still got hit.

The difference in the other A-rank's skill set helped the others to attack.

When it comes to skill sets, people of the same element do not have the same skills. It is not that it is impossible, but it is just very rare.

The others kept hitting the beast-level anti-human with all they had.

That then led to an opening, which Adam capitalized on. He jumped into the air as he said,

"Fire Element, Skill 7: Flame Storm!"

A rain of flames poured onto the battlefield after Adam said that.

The pupils of the anti-human dilated as he stared at the massive onslaught of flames about to pour onto him.

"Screw this."

After the anti-human said that, it vanished from the spot.

"That speed," Adam thought. "He has been toying with us the whole time."

Adam was still in the air when he felt a gust of wind under him.

He looked down and saw the fist of the anti-human punching towards him. There was no time to dodge.

BOOM

Adam flew past tons of trees before coming to a stop after hitting a rock.

"That power, he still had it in his reserves," Adam thought as he coughed out blood.

The anti-human wasted no time and ran away.

"After it," one of the B-ranks said.

"No, we go help Adam," the second-in-command Aaron, the one who used the Flame Blades skill, said.

The anti-human, after running for a while, came to a stop to regenerate and recuperate.

Eden, who had been hiding there this whole time, knew this was his chance, but he didn't make a move.

He was waiting for the right moment to take it out in one blow.

The anti-human seemed so badly injured that it couldn't sense Eden's presence.

It moved a little, thereby exposing its core.

"Die," Eden mumbled and jumped off the tree he was hiding in.

The anti-human sensed the threat and turned its head.

"You—"

Before it could finish speaking, Eden pushed his dagger into its back.

The anti-human tried its best to fight back, but it could only gradually and surely succumb to death.

The massive body fell to the floor with a huge thump.

Eden wasted no time and dug out the anti-core.

It was red in color and pulsating, and it gave off an unpleasant smell.

Eden could barely bear the smell, but he had to eat it.

He used one hand to plug his nose and started to devour the core.

"Even from both lives, it still tastes bad," Eden said.

After he finished eating, he felt a warmth coming from his lower abdomen. He knew he was about to create his life core.

Too bad Eden had to leave the body of the beast-level anti-human behind.

He didn't have anything to carry it with, and besides, he didn't want that group of humans to find out he was the one who killed this beast-level anti-human.

Eden found a cave and stayed there as he tried to create his core.

Huge bursts of energy shot out from his body, destroying everything within a five-meter radius.

"What is happening?" Eden thought. "This was not the amount of energy I felt last time. Something is wrong."

He tried to stop the process of the creation of the life core, but it was already in motion.

BOOM

An explosion rang out as the creation of his life core was completed.

He looked at his body and tried to sense his life core.

He was stunned. It was white in color, and it wasn't giving off any energy.

At the very least he was meant to give out an energy output of twenty, that was the average energy for someone who just activated their core.

Eden knew every life core gave off the color of the element it had an affinity for.

Red: Fire

Blue: Water

Brown: Earth

Grey: Metal

Silver: Wind

Green: Plants

Yellow: Light

Black: Dark

Purple: Space

Gold: Time

Though the last one was very rare, white was a color that had never been shown, or if it even existed.

In his past life, his affinity was with the dark element. Now he had no idea what to do or what went wrong.

While he was still brooding over the failure, he felt a force approaching.

An Inhumane-Level anti-human.
