Chapter 65 - CHAPTER 71: THE OLD DRAMA

JAY-JAY POV

It was Robin's idea again.

Which meant it was either going to be fun…

or a disaster.

"It's movie night!" he announced proudly.

Cin clapped immediately.

"Yes! I need entertainment!"

Felix sighed.

"I need peace."

Rory raised a hand.

"Will I be the villain again?"

"Yes," Cyrus answered calmly.

Denzel nodded.

"Expected."

Then Robin held up a USB.

"…I found our old drama."

Silence.

I froze.

"…You WHAT?"

Adrian slowly turned.

"…You kept that?"

Robin grinned.

"Of course I did. It's legendary."

Keifer narrowed his eyes.

"…What drama?"

I didn't answer fast enough.

So Robin did.

"Our old K-drama project."

Cin's eyes widened.

"WAIT—YOU ALL ACTED IN A DRAMA?!"

Rory leaned forward.

"THIS IS NEWS."

Felix muttered,

"I feel like I shouldn't exist in this timeline."

---

Eman somehow set up a projector in the living room.

The lights dimmed.

Everyone sat on the floor.

Popcorn everywhere.

Luka was sitting in front, already excited.

"This better have action," he said seriously.

"It has everything," Robin replied.

"I regret this already," I whispered.

---

The screen flickered on.

Title appeared.

"DESTINED CROSSROADS"

Cin screamed.

"WHY DOES THAT SOUND SO SERIOUS?!"

Rory gasped.

"WE WERE LEGENDARY?!"

---

And then it started.

Younger me.

Adrian.

Robin.

Cyrus.

All in a fictional storyline.

Actors.

Not real.

But also…

kind of too real.

---

Scene after scene played.

Adrian as the calm, mysterious male lead.

Robin as the chaotic rival.

Cyrus as the silent strategist.

And me…

the center of everything.

Cin was already crying.

"WHY IS SHE SO GOOD?!"

Felix shook his head.

"…This is actually good."

Denzel nodded.

"We were serious about this."

---

Then came the scene.

A confrontation.

Me and Adrian on screen.

Emotional dialogue.

Heavy silence.

The whole room went quiet.

Even Luka stopped eating.

---

On screen, Adrian said:

"You don't have to carry everything alone."

Me (in the drama) replied:

"…But I always do."

Silence.

Then he said:

"Not anymore."

The scene ended.

---

Back in the room…

Nobody spoke for a moment.

Then Rory whispered,

"…Why does this feel personal?"

Cin slowly turned to me.

"WHY WERE YOU LIKE THAT?!"

I buried my face in a pillow.

"Please stop."

---

Then—

I felt it.

Keifer.

Not saying anything.

Just watching.

Still.

Focused.

Too focused.

Yurii leaned slightly toward him.

"…You okay?"

Keifer didn't look away from the screen.

"…Yeah."

But his voice didn't match his answer.

---

On screen, another scene played.

Me and Adrian smiling.

Laughing.

Standing side by side like everything made sense.

Cin gasped again.

"THE CHEMISTRY IS CRAZY!"

Rory pointed.

"THIS IS ILLEGAL LEVEL CHEMISTRY!"

Felix muttered,

"I'm tired."

---

Luka turned to me.

"Ate, you were in a show like this?!"

I nodded slowly.

"…Yeah."

He nodded seriously.

"I understand why people are obsessed with you."

"…Thanks?"

---

The final scene played.

The group standing together.

Future uncertain.

But united.

Then fade out.

---

Silence.

The video ended.

Nobody moved.

Cin whispered,

"…We just watched history."

Rory nodded.

"…We lived history."

Felix closed his eyes.

"…I need sleep."

---

Then Keifer finally stood up.

He didn't look at anyone.

Just at me.

"…You never told me it was like that."

I blinked.

"…I didn't think it mattered."

A pause.

Then he said quietly,

"…It does."

And walked away slightly.

Not angry.

Not loud.

Just… thinking.

---

Adrian looked at me softly.

"You were really different back then."

I nodded.

"…I was."

A pause.

Then I smiled faintly.

"But I think I like who I am now more."

Adrian smiled back.

"Good."

---

Behind us, Cin was still screaming.

Rory was reenacting scenes.

Luka was asking for a sequel.

And the house was chaos again.

But for a moment…

I noticed Keifer watching from the side.

Not the screen.

Me.

And for the first time…

I wondered if my past wasn't the only thing catching up to me.
