Loreen's POV
Ardent paused and turned around slowly. His father arched a brow from across the room.
"Are you having difficulty breathing?" Ardent asked carefully. "Is there tightness in the chest or…" he stopped.
"No," Loreen said. "I breathe perfectly fine. The problem is that my pregnant omega has decided that I breathe too loudly and complains about it."
He looked at Ardent. "His exact words were that I breathe like a bear that has just finished running up a hill." He added.
The room was quiet for a moment. It was more because the two men were baffled, rather than shocked.
"And apparently," Loreen continued, "I also snore. Which I want to be very clear about, I do not snore. I have never snored in my life."
His father pressed his hand over his mouth, hiding his light chuckle.
"He said you snore," Ardent said in an amused voice.
He rolled his eyes. "Sairis said it rattles the walls," Loreen replied flatly.
