Carter turned back to the Mother Terror. He grabbed her throat and lifted her up. His red aura became even thicker than before.
"Why?" He said.
"Why what?" The Mother coughed. "Why we killed her parents? Why we infiltrated the survivors? Why we are what we are?"
Carter clenched her neck tighter.
The Terror trembled.
"It's just survival. You die and we live. You live and we die." The Mother uttered her last words.
"Die then."
Carter crushed the Mother into pieces and punched a hole out of her stomach. His punch created a wind blast going through the hole.
The Mother flopped to the ground motionless.
His Raven Armor and red aura disappeared. The white smoke enveloped him briefly.
"Are you alright, Zen?" Neros approached him.
Carter shook his head. "They're trying to infiltrate us now. It will be difficult to find who from who."
"But we got you, aren't we?" Neros tried to form a smile.
"I won't always be around, Neros."
