Chapter 1: The Rainy Encounter
The sky was covered with dark clouds, and the sound of thunder echoed across the quiet town. People were rushing to their homes as the rain began to fall heavily. The streets soon became empty except for one boy standing near a small tea shop.
His name was Arjun.
Arjun loved the rain. While everyone else tried to hide from it, he enjoyed standing under the grey sky, feeling the cold raindrops on his face. That evening, he held a small notebook in his hand, writing random thoughts about life and love.
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew across the street.
And then he saw her.
A girl was running through the rain, trying to protect herself with a small black umbrella. Her long hair was slightly wet, and a few strands were stuck to her face. She looked around nervously, searching for shelter.
Arjun couldn't stop looking at her.
For a moment, it felt like the whole world had paused.
The girl finally ran under the shade of the tea shop where Arjun was standing. She was breathing heavily from running in the rain.
"Looks like the rain doesn't want to stop today," Arjun said softly.
The girl looked at him for the first time. Her deep brown eyes met his, and something strange happened inside his heart.
She smiled.
"Yes… I think the rain likes to surprise people," she replied.
Her voice was gentle, almost like music in the middle of the storm.
Arjun closed his notebook slowly.
"I'm Arjun," he said.
The girl hesitated for a second before answering.
"I'm Maya."
Outside, the rain continued to fall harder, but inside that small tea shop, something new had already begun.
Neither of them knew it yet…
But that rainy evening was about to change their lives forever.
