Chapter 125: The First Deity? Power of Creation? Omnipotence? Prime God of the Pantheon?
....
A raw bonus of 50,000!
When added to Seito's previous stats, his base speed—without any equipment—had officially reached 100,000. This was a staggering figure. Combined with the fact that he had just hit Level 46, his total power when fully geared was nothing short of monstrous.
[Nickname: Sei]
[Level: 46]
[HP: 7.01M / 7.01M]
[Divine Power: 209]
[Divine Stats: Atk 1865 | Def 1865 | Magic 1865 | Speed 5.9M+]
"Absurd! This is completely broken!"
A speed stat of 5.9 million meant Seito's effective attack power had surpassed the hundred-million mark. He could return to the 50th-floor labyrinth and tear through the Ancient Troll boss like it was wet paper. His trip to the 51st floor had paid off exponentially.
The 51st Floor: Ruins Research Room.
Shaking off his excitement, Seito scanned his surroundings. The Executives were currently scouring a two-story underground archive, checking if any data terminals were still functional.
[Sora: Seito, you need to see this.]
The message flashed in the Executive channel. Seito hurried from the second basement level up to the first, where the others had already gathered around a flickering computer screen.
Seito leaned in to read the decrypted logs:
[Luo Feng Calendar: Year 4035, Feb 3rd]
What exactly is God's Domain? Why has our planet, Luo Feng, been integrated as a mere 'floor' in this tower?
[Luo Feng Calendar: Year 4067, July 11th]
Why study the power of the Gods? Because they are omnipotent! This power fascinates me, yet since last year, it seems the Evil Gods have begun their invasion.
[Luo Feng Calendar: Year 4078, Jan 9th]
I see it now! The Evil Gods are not
[Corrupted Data]...
Hahaha! No wonder they invade God's Domain. Only when the old Gods perish can new ones be born!
The first new Deity to be born... will they possess the Authority of Creation? True Omniscience and Omnipotence? Or perhaps, the first God will become the Prime Deity of an entire Pantheon?
The logs were brief, but the implications were seismic. Sora, Shiro, Kanade, and Amou all turned to look at Seito simultaneously.
The reality was clear: Every floor in God's Domain represented a fallen world. The 51st floor was once a world called Luo Feng, now extinct. But more importantly, the notes mentioned the perks of the "First Deity."
Authority of Creation? Prime God of a Pantheon?
The temptation was immense. However, the mention of "Evil Gods" and the corrupted data at the end of the log gave Seito pause. Were there hidden, newly born deities within the game? And if he achieved Godhood in the real world—where he already possessed Divine Power—would he gain these same reality-warping abilities?
Seito took a deep breath. "Let's go. We've recorded enough. It's time to leave the 51st floor."
Despite his high attack power, this floor was still crawling with dangerous mini-bosses. Overstaying their welcome was a risk he wasn't willing to take just yet.
An hour later...
Snezhnaya Territory, Lord's Mansion.
Maple, Sally, and Ako had already logged off. It was past midnight, and they had school the next morning. Only the core group—Sora, Shiro, Kanade, and Amou—remained.
"Seito, what do you make of those logs?"
Sora asked, cutting straight to the point.
"The logs?" Seito grew silent. "I don't know if there are new Gods within the game, but in the real world... I am certainly the First."
In the game, he was cautious. In reality, his confidence was absolute.
"I really envy you," Sora sighed. "I wonder when my own path to Godhood will open up." He then changed the subject. "Did you ever figure out that fragment from the second event?"
"Not yet," Seito shook his head. The fragment was clearly top-tier, but its utility remained a mystery.
"Fair enough." Sora stood up. "Remember to make extra breakfast tomorrow. Shiro and I are eating at your place."
"No problem," Seito agreed. He turned to Amou and Kanade. "Let's log off."
Real World: Seito's Bedroom.
Exiting the game, Seito stretched his tired limbs. Before he could even settle in, Kirukiru Amou slipped into his room and carefully shut the door behind her.
Seito jumped slightly. "Kanade is still right next door."
"It's fine," Amou whispered, locking the door.
The Next Morning.
"Seito-kun, time to wake up."
Kanade's voice drifted in from the side. Seito opened his eyes and saw her standing by the bed, looking at him with her usual stoic expression. Amou was nowhere to be seen.
"Mmm... where's Amou?" Seito asked, rubbing his eyes.
"She just called in sick to school," Kanade replied calmly. "She said she's feeling a bit 'uncomfortable' today and needs to stay home and rest."
