"This place is great~!" Nyaruko stepped down behind him, her green eyes sparkling as she looked around.
Countless wild Pokémon observed them from the surrounding brush—among them, a remarkable number of Caterpie (the legendary "Rayquaza-in-training")!
"Wow! It's so pretty here!" Illya popped out from behind Seito and Nyaruko, bouncing on her heels. Her eyes shone brightly with sheer excitement.
Her lively, adorable demeanor brought effortless smiles to the faces of both Seito and Nyaruko.
Irisviel stepped off the vessel as well. Bright sunlight bathed her silky white hair, creating a scene that looked like a breathtaking portrait.
"Mmh~" A soft voice sounded, and Seito turned around.
Young Sakura was standing near the spaceship hatch, trembling timidly as she hesitated to step down. Seito could clearly read the lingering fear in her dark eyes.
There was no questioning it—the young girl was terrified! Even though the wild Caterpie outside weren't revolting in appearance, she was still scared out of her wits.
The psychological trauma left by the Old Worm's dark magecraft was clearly flaring up again!
"Sakura, big brother will carry you," Seito said softly. Without waiting for her answer, he scooped her up gently into his arms.
"Thank you, big brother~" Sakura buried her face against Seito's chest, speaking in a timid voice.
With Seito holding her, her anxiety dissipated significantly. After all, she held an immense amount of trust and affection for him.
Seeing that everyone had disembarked, Nyaruko casually recalled the spaceship back into her pocket dimension.
"Let's go," Seito swept his gaze across the surroundings and led the way forward, with the girls following close behind.
He had already used his space-time sensory skills to scout the area—they were currently in the Viridian Forest. Based on his mental map, the nearest settlement happened to be the iconic Pallet Town from the anime.
Along the route, everyone marveled at the peculiar Pokémon roaming the woods. Viridian Forest was teeming with wildlife, though common species like Caterpie, Rattata, and Pidgey made up the majority. These standard Pokémon wouldn't reach terrifying power levels even with perfect 6IV stats!
After all, not everyone was Giovanni!
Giovanni was the absolute mastermind behind Team Rocket—a ruthless boss who managed to cultivate the legendary Mews' DNA to create Mewtwo! Comparing ordinary wild encounters to Giovanni's roster was absurd, given how terrifyingly strong the man actually was.
The group chatted casually along the forest trail as Seito continuously offered comforting words to Sakura.
Unlike Sakura, young Illya was entirely fearless, chasing after small wild Pokémon with pure glee. Fortunately, the gentle divine aura radiating from Seito and Nyaruko kept the wild Pokémon relaxed, allowing them to play along safely with Illya.
Before long, the group stepped out of the dense forest canopy.
Greeting their eyes was a quiet, rustic countryside town. Most buildings featured simple tiled roofs, yellow walls, and red tiles, with only a handful of modern structures in sight. The entire town exuded a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere.
The arrival of Seito's group naturally drew curious looks from the locals.
"Are you guys...?" A young boy walked over, his eyes wide with curiosity.
People in this world were remarkably open-hearted—shouldn't a stranger trigger a bit of wariness first?
"Hello there," Seito smiled warmly. "My name is Seito. We traveled to Kanto from another region and happened to lose our way in Viridian Forest. Could you tell us what town this is?"
Kanto Region and Viridian Forest were standard geographical names on Planet Pokémon, so locals would naturally recognize them. As for Pallet Town, acting like first-time visitors was the best approach.
"This is Pallet Town! The town where Professor Oak lives!" the boy explained eagerly.
"Professor Oak?" Seito feigned a slight look of surprise.
Professor Oak was undeniably famous across Planet Pokémon! As a world-renowned Pokémon researcher, almost everyone had heard tales of his accomplishments.
"Yup! Do you want to go meet Professor Oak?" the boy offered.
"That would be wonderful, thank you," Seito accepted without hesitation.
Having just arrived on this planet, integrating into local society was their priority, and Professor Oak was the ideal starting point.
"Follow me!" The boy turned on his heel and led the way, with Seito's group following right behind.
"Seito, what are we doing on this planet anyway?" Nyaruko asked casually.
"Just consider it a vacation. We can catch a few Pokémon along the way," Seito answered with a chuckle.
Having visited Planet Pokémon, how could he pass up the chance to tame a Shiny Gardevoir? Thinking back to all those fan comics about Gardevoir from his past life, Seito felt his inner mischievous side waking up again.
"Sounds awesome!" Nyaruko agreed immediately.
Illya giggled happily at the idea as well.
The group arrived outside Professor Oak's research laboratory in no time.
"Professor Oak! I brought some visitors from out of town!" the boy shouted toward the laboratory entrance.
"Oh? Visitors?" A mature man's voice echoed from within.
Creeeak~
The front door opened, and Professor Oak appeared before Seito's group, dressed in his iconic white lab coat.
Looking at him, Seito instantly thought of Pikachu! When Pikachu was strong, it clashed directly against Legendary Pokémon; when it was weak, it struggled against starter Pokémon.
"And you folks are...?" Professor Oak examined Seito's group with a rather strange expression.
Four white-haired individuals and one black-haired child?
Indeed! The four white-haired individuals were Seito, Nyaruko, Irisviel, and Illya, while the black-haired child was Sakura.
Professor Oak was visibly bewildered. Did this young man who looks so young already become a father?!
Because of Irisviel and Illya, Professor Oak naturally assumed Seito and Irisviel were a married couple with a child. As for Nyaruko and Sakura, he couldn't quite figure out their family dynamic.
"Hello, Professor Oak. We came specifically to visit you."
"Is that so?" Professor Oak stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Come on in first."
"Thank you," Seito smiled politely.
Professor Oak then turned toward the boy who had guided them. "Red, you're about to set off on your journey soon, right?
Remember to swing by later to collect your starter Pokémon."
