In a green forest, four figures could be seen walking towards a distant city, surrounded by castle walls.
Both Erskine and the ancient one looked around in wonder, occasionally seeing strange blobs with elemental powers called Slimes, though the majority of them were Anemo Slimes due to the concentrated Anemo elemental power in this specific region.
"How fascinating!,the potential for magic in this world is immense,perhaps i should create a magic school here."The Ancient One thought excited.
The ancient one then turned to look at a certain Artifact that Amber was wearing, and frowned.
"This child has no magic power in her body,it seems humans have not adapted to wield magic in this world,or perhaps they can't, needing external objects to do so."
The Ancient was confused, "If monsters can have elemental powers, then why can't humans?"
"Everything has elemental power here, I can see it, but humans are the only exception, I suppose."
Eldrin, who was walking alongside the group seemed to be intensely focused on something in the distance,It was a dark-coloured humanoid being with wheat coloured hair and a mask.
"A Hilichurl?, but that's not the thing that interests me; it's the miasma surrounding it, it feels like I could command it."
Eldrin thought for a while, and came to a conclusion.
"it is said, that on many occasions, people with the capability to control darkness can also control negative emotions, or evil energy. "
"But in the Marvel world, the negative emotions or evil energy were not intense enough to be felt due to my insufficient power; the only one that had a shred of evil energy was the ancient one, due to drawing power from the dark dimension, but here, the intensity of that evil energy is supernaturally high, making it easy enough for me to perceive it."
"And here we are!, In the city of freedom, Mondstadt."
Amber interrupted the thoughts of the group, grabbing their full attention.
Eldrin was the first to speak.
"A wonderful city i must say"
But then.
ROAR!
A loud, deafening roar echoed through the region, and in the sky was a giant dragon flying towards Monstandt with hurricanes surrounding it.
Amber's eyes widened in shock, she almost ran towards Monstandt due to her duty as knight of fevonius,however.
Amber looked back with a complicated gaze,she couldn't possibly leave those adventures alone in this dangerous forest.
Eldrin, seeing her expression said with a gentle smile.
"You need not worry about us, we have sufficient enough strength to protect ourselves from most threats, you may go where your duty calls you."
Amber looked at the group with a grateful gaze and rushed towards Monsdtandt with her glider.
Erskine looked towards Eldrin and said.
"You know we could also fly, right"
Eldrin nodded and said.
"It was merely an opportunity for us to disappear, we now have the chance to slowly develop our power in this world unbothered, there certain beings too powerful for us to handle at our current strength"
Eldrin the looked at the two figures with a serious look and said.
"If we were to follow her back to Monstadt,she would sooner or later discover our powers and origins, not only that, but Monstadt is probably under surveillance by those beings increasing the chance of us becoming a target."
But the Ancient One couldn't help but ask.
" Eldrin, I cannot help but ask, we just arrived in this world, how could you possibly know this?"
Eldrin only spoke two words.
"Follow me"
And then flew northwest at incredible speeds.
Both naturally followed, with only the ancient one confused.
Erskine looked at the ancient one with pity and said.
"You shouldn't have asked that,the first time someone doubted him had his worldview shattered."
The ancient one felt a rare trace of anxiety when she heard Erskine.
Eldrin, who was leading the way suddenly said to a shadow telepathically.
"Head to Monstandt and make sure no one is harmed"he then thought hesitantly.
"Also, attempt to purge Stormterror's corruption if possible."
"Your words,our deeds" answered the shadow who then headed straight to Monstandt"
After a few minutes, the three figures who had been flying reached a floating island.
Eldrin wasted no time and explained to the confused Ancient one.
"This island is the residence of the heavenly principles, essential the gods of this world"
Erskine was expecting a shocked reaction from the ancient one, but the only thing he saw was interest and curiosity, basically she was unfazed.
Eldrin looked at Erskine's confused face and explained with an amused smile.
"Erskine, the ancient one has lived for possibly more than 700 years, she has seen or faced worst things,things you couldn't even imagine, a mere god is not gonna face her in the slightest."
Erskine now understood, but his eyes widened when he thought about something and muttered silently to Eldry in panic while looking at the god's residence.
"Eldrin you old fool!, you brought us to a gods residence!"
The Ancient One, after hearing Erskine's muttering gulped.
"They're dormant"Said Eldrin with a deadpan look.
"Oh" answered Erskine awkwardly.
"Anyways, we have two options now, we could attempt to assassinate the dormant heavenly principles, or simply leave the matter completely, the choice is yours."
"Hold on a second, assassinate a god? have you gone senile!?,and for what purpose?"asked Erskine as the voice of reason.
Eldrin thought for a while."Should I tell him about the god's evil, but necessary deeds?"He turned to look at the floating island."No, he has too much burden to bear,if I were to tell him he might act illogically, putting his life in danger, Ignorance is a bliss indeed"
"The heavenly principles might be a necessary evil,but I still cannot allow such suffering to remain in this world,shes an effective protector yes, but I believe there are people better suited to protecting this world, and possibly making it even thrive"Eldrin thought as he gave a glance to the ancient one.
"Forget what I said, the proposal is indeed illogical in our current situation,perhaps all those years of war have made me tired, also clouding my judgment in the process. "Eldrin lied to Erskine for the very first time.
Thought what he said is not far from the truth.
The ancient one gave Eldrin a look, probably knowing that he was hiding something, but remained silent.
Erskine was not stupid either; he knew Eldrin knew something, yet simply nodded in understanding.
In Monstandt.
A giant dragon could be seen flying above the city, causing hurricanes all over the place,but somewhere in the distance stood a man with medium-length black hair, scarlet eyes, and a black suit, he looked like a hell of a butler.
The man directly teleported upon the rampaging dragons back and said.
"It appears you have been corrupted my friend, Abyssian corruption I assume?"
He then cracked his fingers and said,"Let's see what we can do to fix you."
The man then raised his hand in the air, and from the dragon, an immense amount of miasma started flowing towards the man's hands, forming a black misty sphere.
The dragon's purple, pained eyes regained their former colour and relaxed, thought that also caused the dragon to lose consciousness.
The man looked in panic towards the now falling dragon and raised his hands and coated it with darkness, successfully stopping its fall towards the city.
Phew~"That was awfully close"
The man then looked at the misty miasma ball in his hands and with a mischievous smirk, ate it.
"Apologies my liege, but you will have to get used to the feeling of absorbing miasma."
