Auric was a bit startled. He contemplated, remembering all the times he tried to fuse two abilities, not two elements. "Each ability has its own flow and energy. When you fuse them, it's only natural for two different flows to clash. As a result, they will cancel out."

Auric remembered his 'Edict.' This battle technique allowed him to write a word and use it all at once. However, each word would have a different system.
