SF Chapter 148: Private Jet II
After chatting for a while longer, Prudence stood up and went to get something.
A short while later, she returned carrying a guitar case. She took the guitar out and sat down beside Dani.
"Let's sing," she proposed.
Amanda looked intrigued. "You two can sing?"
The blonde was an incredibly talented singer. The scene where she sang Pocketful of Sunshine in Easy A had been one of the most praised moments at the premiere.
"Yes," Dani nodded. "Especially in the shower. Naked," he joked.
Amanda just stared at him, unfazed.
"Come on, Mandy. Where's the girl who used to text me saying she was taking a soapy shower?"
"That was a long time ago, Dani-bro. You replied telling me not to forget to wash 'my balls' - so yeah, mood ruined," Amanda mocked.
Prudence gasped in astonishment. "Dani!" she exclaimed.
Amanda was smirking until she heard what the brunette whispered - quietly, but loud enough for her to hear.
"Does she have a small wiener?"
Dani shook his head. "No. It's a big one. Amanda is very well-endowed."
The blonde kicked his leg under the table.
Then Dani explained to Prudence. "It's one of my rules: I don't flirt with a girl who is working in one of my movies."
"As a bad employee, and just to mess with me, Mandy used to send me provocative messages," he made a face like he'd been through a great ordeal.
Amanda just rolled her eyes. "How about we go back to the music?"
"Oh yeah," Dani agreed. "I was really surprised by how much Prudence loved singing," he revealed.
[Dani and Prudence commentary]
"If Lexi is totally obsessed with movies, Prudence has the same vibe, but for music," Dani remarked.
He went on, "It's like: we sing, then have sex. Or sometimes the opposite."
Prudence revealed, "One time, we tried to do both - singing while having sex. Lexi got annoyed and made us stop."
Dani nodded. "But I agree with Lexi. Let's not mix it."
But then the brunette whispered something in his ear.
Dani shivered. "I might be more flexible than Lexi, and we can try again on this trip."
Prudence just smirked.
[Commentary ends]
"I was doing it all the time when I met you," Prudence pointed out.
He turned to her. "Yeah, but I thought that was because of me... because I was so good in bed."
"Oh, that too," she admitted without hesitation.
They exchanged a high five, while Amanda watched them, unsure how to react.
Dani looked at Amanda and gestured toward Prudence with his hand. "See, Mandy? Isn't she perfect?!"
"...Sure," she replied flatly.
"So, who will be the first?" He asked.
Prudence had already started strumming the guitar. "You can start. Impress her," she smirked.
Dani nodded. "Okay. But since it's to impress Mandy, it has to be super corny and cheesy."
Amanda kicked him again. "Ha-ha, you're so funny, Dani," she mocked.
"So, 'You're Beautiful'?"
"Yep."
[Dani commentary]
"I created this song as a challenge from Lexi and Prudence."
"Just trying to be romantic, no swagger involved," he said. "More like having no balls..." he muttered.
[Commentary ends]
Dani began to sing while Prudence played the guitar.

He continued staring at Amanda.

"Wow..." Amanda said, clearly in disbelief. "Wow," she repeated.
"That was incredible..." she paused.
Then added, "...Cute!" The blonde burst out laughing, even placing a hand on her stomach.
"I didn't know you had that side, Dani," she teased again.
Dani opened and closed his mouth, at a loss for words.
Prudence kissed his cheek. "Don't listen to her."
But then she said, "and I can be the man in the relationship too. So don't worry!"
He replied by kissing Prudence intensely, even groping her breast.
Amanda was amused, but after a moment, she started coughing pointedly, having to separate the two herself.
"Okay, I'm still here," she scoffed.
"Like that would make any difference to me," Dani smirked.
Amanda narrowed her eyes. "You are truly unbelievable."
She ended up being honest. "But the music was really good - although a little catchy and cheesy. And you sing well," she praised.
"You can go next," Prudence encouraged her. "What kind of song do you want to sing?"
"Do you know California, by Joni Mitchell?"
"I actually do," she nodded.

Reading in the news and it sure looks bad... ♫♪
The blonde sang the entire music beautifully.
The other two stopped and applauded, making Amanda give a mocking bow.
"God, I like it," Dani said. "You should totally do a musical film."
"I would love that!" she replied, still looking at him.
"What?" he asked, glancing back at her and then at Prudence, who was also looking at him. "I've never written a musical."
"And I'm too busy." He lied.
"Doing what?" Prudence called him out. "You finished writing the books. And the only script still unfinished is The Hangover, which you put on hold."
Dani had already told her about the status of everything he had done - even that he had finally finished the third Percy Jackson book, which would be released alongside Wimpy Kid on his birthday.
"Fine, I can see if I get some inspiration," he agreed, since he really had nothing to do, and a musical could be interesting to write.
"But even if I write and film it, I can't promise you'll be in the cast, Amanda," he said seriously.
"At most, I can write the protagonist as a young blonde girl - short, very beautiful, a little busty, with big, round, Gollum-like eyes. The eyes are essential."
"I don't know if I want to hug you or hit you," Amanda made an amused face.
"Do both. Both are the correct answer," Prudence instigated.
They ended up laughing.
"Okay, now it's my turn," the brunette said as she repositioned herself with the guitar. "I'll sing that song you made, Dani."

Claire came back with Phil.
"Everything will be fine, Claire," Phil reassured his wife.
Then they heard part of the song Prudence was singing.

I hope my boyfriend don't mind it ♫♪
Even with Claire looking at her in astonishment, Prudence kept singing, even smiling mischievously at her.

I liked it ♫♪
"Nope, let's go back to the back," Claire pretended she hadn't heard anything and pulled her husband away.
