Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Running Back to Him

Anaya stood on the side of the road, her heart racing.

Everything finally made sense.

Rohan knew about her family's problem from the beginning.

He used it to pressure Aarav.

And Aarav… sacrificed their love to protect her.

Tears filled Anaya's eyes again.

"Aarav…" she whispered.

She suddenly realized something.

He must be feeling completely alone right now.

Without wasting another second, Anaya started running.

She ran through the streets, past shops and people, not caring about anything else.

Her only thought was Aarav.

Meanwhile, Aarav was sitting alone in the same park.

The bench where they used to laugh together now felt empty.

He stared at the ground.

His chest felt heavy.

He knew Anaya must hate him now.

But he believed it was better this way.

"At least she'll be safe," he said quietly.

Just then—

"AARAV!"

He looked up quickly.

Anaya was running toward him.

Her hair was messy, and she was breathing heavily.

"Anaya?" he said in surprise.

She stopped in front of him.

"Aarav… you idiot!" she said angrily.

He stood up, confused.

"What happened?"

Anaya grabbed his arm.

"Why didn't you tell me everything?"

Aarav frowned.

"I did tell you—"

"No!" she interrupted. "You didn't tell me the truth."

Aarav looked confused.

"What truth?"

Anaya took a deep breath.

"Rohan planned everything."

Aarav froze.

"What?"

"The men threatening my father… they work for his uncle," she said.

Aarav's eyes widened.

"So the whole situation…"

"Yes," Anaya said angrily. "He used it to force you to leave me."

Aarav couldn't believe it.

For a moment he stayed silent, processing everything.

Then he clenched his fists.

"That means… I hurt you for nothing."

Anaya's expression softened.

"No," she said quietly.

"You did it because you love me."

Aarav looked at her.

Their eyes met.

"I thought losing you would protect you," he said.

Anaya shook her head.

"Losing you would destroy me."

Those words hit Aarav deeply.

Anaya stepped closer.

"We face this together," she said firmly.

"No more sacrifices alone."

Aarav felt something warm in his chest again.

For the first time in days, hope returned.

He held her hands.

"You're sure about this?"

Anaya nodded.

"Yes."

Then she smiled slightly.

"And this time… we're going to defeat Rohan together."

Aarav smiled too.

But at that exact moment…

Two black cars stopped near the park.

Four rough-looking men stepped out.

Aarav immediately recognized them.

They were the same men who had come to Anaya's house.

One of them pointed at Aarav.

"That's him."

The leader cracked his knuckles.

"Boss wants to talk to you."

Aarav's expression turned serious.

Because now the real fight had finally begun.
