Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The First Rain

The sky above Kolkata was heavy with dark clouds. The air smelled of rain and dust, the kind of smell that makes old memories wake up.

Maya stood under the small roof of a bus stop, holding her notebook tightly against her chest. She loved writing stories, but today her mind was empty.

Suddenly the rain started.

Not softly… but like the sky had been waiting for too long.

People rushed everywhere. Cars splashed water across the road. The city became a blur of umbrellas and running footsteps.

Then Maya noticed someone.

A boy was standing in the rain.

He wasn't running. He wasn't hiding.

He was simply standing there… smiling at the sky.

Maya frowned.

"Is he crazy?" she whispered.

The boy suddenly turned toward her. Their eyes met for a brief moment.

And something strange happened.

For the first time in her life, Maya felt like this moment had happened before.

Like fate had quietly written this meeting long ago.The sky above Kolkata was heavy with dark clouds. The air smelled of rain and dust, the kind of smell that makes old memories wake up.
