Rabbit and tortoise story
Here is the classic "The Rabbit and the Tortoise" story 🐇🐢:
Once upon a time, a rabbit lived in a forest. He was very fast and loved to brag about his speed. He often laughed at a slow tortoise who lived nearby.
One day, the rabbit mocked the tortoise again. The tortoise calmly said,
"Why don't we have a race?"
The rabbit laughed loudly. "You? Race with me? That will be the easiest race ever!" But he agreed because he was very confident.
All the animals in the forest gathered to watch. A fox was chosen to start the race.
"Ready… Set… Go!"
The rabbit ran very fast and quickly left the tortoise far behind. After running for a while, the rabbit looked back and saw the tortoise moving very slowly.
"This race is too easy," the rabbit thought. "I'll take a nap under this tree."
So he lay down and soon fell asleep. 😴
Meanwhile, the tortoise kept walking slowly but steadily. Step by step, he continued without stopping.
After a long time, the tortoise passed the sleeping rabbit and kept going toward the finish line.
Eventually, the rabbit woke up and realized the tortoise was gone! He ran as fast as he could, but it was too late.
The tortoise had already reached the finish line and won the race. 🎉
All the animals cheered for the tortoise.
