"Listen up. You have exactly one chance to reorganize your words and clearly explain what you're doing here. Otherwise, my Pikachu won't show any mercy."
"Pika!" (I'm ready whenever!)
Looking at Pikachu, who had already pulled out small steel needles, James hastily said, "Ah, well, we actually came here to help you wake up the Snorlax."
"Oh? Are you really that kind-hearted?" Lara acutely sensed something was off, while Misty said speechlessly, "I bet they were planning to steal it..."
"Alright! Pikachu, prepare to shock them!"
"Pika~"
"Wait a minute, meow! We actually do have a way to wake up the Snorlax, meow!" Seeing that Ash was itching to electrocute the three of them, Meowth quickly stepped forward to stop him—and hit the nail on the head.
"Hold on a second, Pikachu." Ash walked up, patted Meowth's head, and asked, "Good Meowth. Tell me, what's the plan? If you tell me, I'll treat you to grilled fish."
"Really, meow?"
"Of course. I don't lie."
"Alright! It's actually very simple. Just like Jessie and James were just saying, in fairy tales, the prince's kiss can wake the sleeping princess. Couldn't we use that same logic?"
After hearing Meowth's idea, Ash took a can of grilled fish from his bag and handed it to him.
"Oh, thanks a lot!"
Ash looked at the Snorlax, pondered Meowth's idea, and fell into deep thought. Seeing Ash like this, Suzie asked uncertainly, "Ash, you're not actually considering this, are you?"
"We have to be brave enough to try, don't we? Maybe it will actually work? Misty, your Horsea..."
Hearing Ash mention Horsea, Misty immediately clutched her bag protectively and said, "No way! My Horsea is still a child!"
"Psy!"
Just as Ash was trying to persuade Misty, Ash's Psyduck suddenly popped out of its Pokéball and planted its bill right onto Snorlax's lips.
Everyone present, Pokémon included, was shocked. This duck really just went for it?!
Ash looked at his foolish duck after the kiss and couldn't help but ask, "Psyduck, how was it?"
"Psy!"
Asked by Ash, Psyduck actually blushed and made a comical expression. Ash looked from Psyduck to Snorlax, feeling a bit speechless.
"So this Snorlax is actually female? But it looks like that didn't work..."
"Says who!"
Right at that moment, Jessie and James walked over, dragging a dressed-up Meowth between them. "See this? This is a real prince!"
Seeing Team Rocket's Meowth, looking utterly bewildered as he was forcibly dressed like a prince, Ash knew exactly what Meowth was about to endure. Being very polite, Ash stepped aside to make room.
"Please, you three, go right ahead."
"Wait a minute, meow?! I don't want to kiss a Snorlax!"
Meowth stared at Snorlax's giant face getting closer and closer, struggling frantically. But it was no use. With Jessie and James pushing together, Meowth really did kiss it.
Watching Meowth being forced to kiss Snorlax, Ash and the others couldn't bear it and turned their heads away. The sight was just too "beautiful" to look at...
However, something unexpected happened. After being kissed by Meowth, Snorlax actually reacted!
"No way! Are you kidding me?!"
Just as Ash was marveling that Meowth's kiss actually did something, Snorlax didn't wake up. Instead, it showed an expression of agony, as if it were having a nightmare.
"Is Meowth's mouth toxic or something?"
While Ash was marveling at Meowth's poisonous kiss, Gardevoir, standing next to Ash, revealed a dark, mischievous smile. Then, she looked at Brock.
"Huh? What's going on with my body?"
Just as Brock was watching Snorlax's pained expression, he suddenly found himself moving on his own—and walking straight toward Snorlax!
"Wait! Why me?! Hold on! Don't do this!"
Then, under the shocked gazes of Ash, Misty, Lara, Suzie, Meowth, Pikachu, Chansey, and Team Rocket, Brock actually kissed the Snorlax!
Lara's jaw dropped as she looked at Brock, then she said with sheer admiration: "We children of the plains dare to love and dare to hate. Brock, you are now a qualified child of the plains!"
"No, Brock probably just annoyed Gardevoir. But seriously, did that work?" Misty stared dumbfounded at the eye-searing scene before her, not knowing how to describe it.
The sharp-eyed Suzie suddenly shouted, "Look! Snorlax!"
Then, a jaw-dropping scene unfolded before everyone. Snorlax actually woke up, blushed, and wrapped Brock in a massive hug!
"So the prince was Brock!" (Everyone)
"Pika!" (Congratulations!)
"Lucky!" (How moving!)
"Gar!" (It actually worked...)
"This world is crazy, meow!"
Meanwhile, Brock, trapped in Snorlax's embrace, could only cry out in tears, "Whoever it is! Please, somebody save me!"
