⭐ Background:
Lyra Mew Nova is a young girl from Pallet Town who has dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Master ever since she was little. Despite her age, she is extremely intelligent and very observant when it comes to Pokémon and battles. However, Lyra dislikes drawing attention to herself. Because of this, she often hides her true abilities and sometimes deliberately scores around 50–60 marks on her school tests so others will think she is average.
Her mother, Julia Light, and Professor Oak both know the truth about Lyra's intelligence, but they respect her choice. Lyra once told them that she would stop hiding her abilities once she finally became a Pokémon Trainer and began her journey.
When Lyra was seven years old, she wandered into the forest near Pallet Town and encountered two unusual Pokémon—a playful Pichu and a curious Chimchar. Seeing a Chimchar in Kanto was rare, since the species is usually found in the Sinnoh Region. Yet the two Pokémon quickly grew fond of Lyra, as if they had known her for a long time. From that day forward, they became inseparable companions, spending their days playing, exploring, and training together.
As the years passed, their bond only grew stronger. By the time Lyra turned nine, Chimchar had grown incredibly powerful and eventually evolved into Infernape.
Pichu, however, chose not to evolve. She was perfectly happy staying the way she was. Understanding this, Professor Oak gave Lyra an Everstone, explaining that it prevents a Pokémon from evolving while holding it. Lyra carefully turned the Everstone into a small necklace for Pichu, ensuring it would always stay safe—even during battles.
Some people in Pallet Town have noticed something unusual about Lyra. Pokémon seem to trust her almost instantly, and wild Pokémon rarely act aggressively around her. Professor Oak once wondered if it had something to do with the name her father gave her—Mew, the ancestor of all Pokémon.
Now at ten years old, Lyra is finally ready to begin her journey across the Kanto Region. With her two lifelong Pokémon friends by her side—and a new partner waiting for her—she sets out to chase her dream of becoming a Pokémon Master.
But neither Lyra nor the people around her realize that her journey will one day lead her to become something far greater…
