Chapter 26 - statue reattack but now villlans turn।

When Dev feels the demon's attack landing on his chest, blood comes out of his mouth. The Dragon Teeth Armour had saved him, but still Dev spits blood. Such a fast jolt had also closed his eyes for a moment. However, nothing happened to the Dragon Teeth Armour, except for a few small scratches.

Dev forcefully opens his closing eyes. He was falling into the chasm with his back downward. Quickly raising his left hand, he twists himself downward with a jerk, turning to the right. The armour had neutralised almost the entire force of that demonic statue's attack, so Dev was still conscious.

When Dev twists downward while still in the air, he sees light below, and in that light, he sees something in an instant that makes his desire for revenge reach its peak. Without thinking, his two hands themselves grab those knives that he had obtained from the eight-legged creature. Seeing that human below, he remembers that this is the same demon who was at his villa that day, and it was into this demon's eyes that Dev had thrust the broken dagger. How could Dev forget that? His father is in this condition now — this demon is responsible for it.

Dev feels the knives in his hands and brings them into an attacking position. Dev had now forgotten that there were also demonic statues behind him — right now he could only see that one-eyed demon. Dev leans his upper body downward and increases his speed even more.

As soon as that one-eyed cultivator standing below grabbed that skeleton, it felt as if his hair stood on end. This feeling was not coming because of the skeleton, but from somewhere else. He quickly raises his head upward. Just then, he felt as if a terrifying freight train had collided with him at a speed of 100 kilometres per hour. Dev begins to channel all his power through those daggers directly into the demon's chest. The laughter that had been on that demon's face last time now seemed to have disappeared.

Dev plunges straight into the water along with him. Due to this powerful jolt, the skeleton that the demon had been holding came loose. Dev sees that the demon let out a loud scream as soon as the knives struck him, but his eyes were still open. He had been injured by this jolt, and blood was also flowing from his chest. Dev sees that both his knives had become lodged in the demon's chest.

Dev says to himself, "It seems my attack did not reach his heart. The knives stop at the bone in his ribcage." And it felt as if those knives had been stuck into some crack. After all, he had transformed into a demon and was also of a higher rank in cultivation. I haven't even started cultivation yet. Sensing the danger, Dev quickly releases the knives.

That demon, struck by the knives, was still trying to steady himself from that force. Just then, Dev's gaze falls upon the skeleton near him. Then, with a 'tin-tin' sound, the system appears. Disha's voice comes: "A mysterious treasure has been found. A very old demonic skeleton could be of some use to you." Dev looks away from the system and moves forward to quickly grab that skeleton.

Just then, that demon whom Dev had attacked — after going some distance into the water — now starts screaming in anger and pain, causing water to also go into his mouth. He could not understand: this human, just a month ago, he and his companion had thrown him far down from the mountain — so how is he still alive? His condition was not at all such that he could possibly be alive.

Then, as soon as he moves his feet forward to attack Dev, he stumbles in the water itself. He looks at his chest. There, two knives were embedded in his chest, from which blood was flowing, darkening the water. The longer time passes, the weaker he feels. He didn't even want to touch the knives right now, but still he says, "I don't need to go there." He looks at the blood flowing from his chest, and then, with his vision growing dim, he sees Dev moving towards the skeleton ahead. He then controls the blood flowing from his chest and begins to form a very large circle around Dev.

On this side, when Dev reaches near the skeleton, he suddenly senses many people behind him. Dev looks back — there were 10 to 20 demons moving towards him. In front of them, one demon was moving towards him at twice the speed of the others. The skeleton was just an arm's length away from Dev. Just then, when Dev looks back at the skeleton, he sees a snake clinging to it, pulling it away from Dev. Seeing this, Dev is astonished.

In a hurry, Dev could not understand what to do now. Just then, Dev hears the sound of a loud explosion behind those demons, and a figure, scattering those demons by moving extremely fast between them, had already reached directly behind Vakratara. Vakratara, seeing an attack coming from behind, wanted to turn around, but just then he felt as if he had been hit by a wall. With the sound of an explosion, a mughdal strikes Vakratara directly on the back.

Seeing the attack on that demon in front of him, Dev understands that it is the same one, and that he has also arrived here. Due to this impact, Vakratara's eyes had begun to blur for a moment. The jolt was so strong that Vakratara immediately came close to Dev. Because of such speed, there was turmoil in the water behind him. Dev quickly moves aside and looks at Vakratara. Vakratara, propelled forward by the push, passes even Dev and collides directly with that skeleton.

When Vakratara regains full consciousness, his gaze falls upon his old enemy, and seeing him, he shudders deep inside. That snake, with half its body resting on the skeleton's head, had its hood spread open, just a short distance from Vakratara's eyes. As if even the snake's slightest movement would be enough to shake the thread of Vakratara's life.
