"Now you cannot wear this mask again for the next twenty minutes." Hearing this system voice, Dev places his mask inside his shirt. As soon as he does this, a flood of emotions begins to rise within him. His heart starts beating loudly, and it felt as if something dangerous was standing behind his head.
In a panic, Dev looks behind him. Was his instinct correct? When he looks behind, he sees a very large pair of scissors coming towards him. That scissors was now just a few inches away from his eyes. Dev quickly turns right by natural instinct. Dev had reacted very quickly, yet a few hairs near his ear are cut and fly away in the air.
Dev looks ahead – a demonic statue, which now appeared alive, with bloodlust in its eyes. That statue attacked again quickly. Dev had frozen in a way, seeing this demonic statue in front of him and seeing that dangerous scissors coming towards him again. Can anyone be that fast?
Just then, Dev remembers – last time, he was not powerful. He remembers how those demons, carrying his injured father on their shoulders, were laughing while underestimating him. Dev remembers how, while dying, in his memories, he was apologising to his father for not being able to protect them. He was weak.
Seeing the scissors come close again in front of him, Dev says, "Yes, I was weak, but now... now I am not weak. I will not die at the hands of any demon again." Dev forcibly steadies his frozen body and quickly twists himself backwards to avoid that attack.
However, by doing this, his feet were on the edge of the chasm, but half his body had already leaned towards the chasm. Now Dev appeared as if beneath him was the chasm, and above him was the cave ceiling, from which hung sharp pointed rocks. Just then, between him and the hanging rocks, that statue – holding a mughdal in one hand – appears, looking somewhat like a larger demon.
Dev's eyes snap wide open, because when he leaned back to avoid the scissors, another statue-demon appears above him. It looked as if it had leaped a great distance and come directly over Dev. Dev could not think now about how and why this happened. To save himself, he quickly brings his hands near his face, but that demon holding the mughdal, without paying attention to Dev's hands, strikes Dev directly on the chest with its mughdal with great force.
Dev could see the fierce gleam to kill in that statue-demon's eyes between his fingers. The next moment, it felt as if someone had struck a meteor directly onto Dev's stomach. Although this force was greatly reduced (due to the Dragon Teeth Armor), still, from its impact, Dev felt as if someone had set off a whirlwind inside his body. An "Oh" escapes Dev's mouth – and blood too. Along with this, the force of the attack was so great that Dev was falling straight into the chasm like a cannonball at full speed.

On the other hand, when Vakratara Nasur and all his demons had broken the teleportation scrolls, they were teleported near the underground river. Because their teleporters had a range of 60 metres. So, in the area within 60 metres, this was the only place where anyone could stand; the rest of the area could not be teleported into because it was underground. All those demons were teleported directly into that underground river.
Vakratara Nasur says, "This was the problem – this has become true. We have been teleported so deep underground. These teleporters send you anywhere." Saying this, he slaps his hand hard on the water beside him. Vakratara now looked up – all he could see was empty space going very high up, as if he had fallen into a chasm. Vakratara now looks to one side of the river. He senses some kind of light in one direction of this underground river. Vakratara thinks about moving towards it and proceeds forward.
After going some distance towards that light, Vakratara finds all his demon men floating in the water. As soon as Vakratara arrives, they all quickly swim to him. They say, "Boss, we were also moving towards the light." Hearing this, Vakratara raises his head towards that light and begins moving towards it in astonishment. Behind him, everyone was following.
After swimming for 20 minutes, all the demons look ahead. There were many crystals floating in the water ahead. Some of them had designs like red rope-like shapes. Some were blue, and some were black. These crystals looked like wood and ropes, they were shining so much, and at the same time, they were floating on the water. Are these normal glowing stones, or something else?
However, just then, a loud, sharp sound – like the sharpening of a knife – reaches their ears. It felt as if someone had played that sound at full volume inside their brains. This sound was so terrible that, except for the 9th Elder, all the demons began to scream loudly. Vakratara tells everyone to cover their ears. He senses that this sound came from above this chasm. It stops quickly, but the demons behind do not remove their hands from their ears and keep screaming from the pain inside. This sound lasted only a few seconds.
Those demons think it is some kind of trap and stand there motionless for 15 minutes. During this time, Vakratara was observing those crystals ahead. The demons behind had now become quiet. Vakratara concludes that if these were attached, they would look like pieces of some pool.
Just then, while Vakratara is making this guess, he sees a figure approaching those pieces. It was like some kind of snake – as if, due to its wild nature, it was also moving from the darkness towards the light. The surprise came when Vakratara saw the tail of that snake – there was a skeleton trapped in it.
The truth was, when the snake had jumped down from that island, it came back onto the island through a tunnel from under the water, because it would not abandon its island because of some human. But before it could come up, a loud explosion occurred, and the island began to break apart. This time the snake was underwater. Just then, its favourite object, near which it used to live, appeared to it sinking down into the water, and from the depths, it pulled it and followed the current in the direction the water was going. After a while, it saw some light in the distance. When it reached that place by swimming, upon surfacing, it saw many demons – and glowing stones.
Just then, Vakratara says, "Look at this – what is this? How did this happen?" Thinking this, he remembers his hand. His eyes turn red with anger, but seeing the skeleton lying near that snake, his eyes calm down and a gleam appears in them. However, this time, not the same mistake as last time. He orders the Kana Cultivator standing behind him to go forward.
On this side, Kana Cultivator says, "Alright," and, even though unwilling, slowly moves towards that snake. Tying cloth around his hands, he thinks, "This time I will kill this snake for sure. It has even made the boss frustrated." Instead of rushing, he throws his blood around the snake, and at the same time, the snake also starts looking at the blood he has spread.
That Kana demon looks at the snake in front of him and, with his mental power, controls his blood lying at a distance. Joining it, he creates a circle around the snake. At the same time, he was moving the finger of one hand against the palm of the other, while shaking it. After finishing his mantra, he says, "Mind Control." As soon as he says this, the blood formed on the water begins to glow, and a red aura begins to emanate from it, which starts to surround that snake from all sides.
Seeing this, Vakratara bursts into loud laughter – "Ha ha ha ha!" Along with him, looking at Bhoos, all those demons also start laughing. That snake was struggling in the midst of that red aura. Just then, that Kana Cultivator moves forward to take that skeleton. The snake's eyes were turning red, sometimes yellow. That red aura had gripped it like some kind of vein.
That Kana Cultivator goes near the snake and, as soon as he grabs that skeleton, it is as if the sky punished him for this insolence with a lightning-fast thunderbolt. A human, holding daggers in both hands, like an arrow, like a meteor falling from the sky, attacks him with knives. With the attack, that Cultivator – still holding the skeleton – keeps going deeper and deeper into the water. And at the same time, that human falling like a cannon, with both daggers thrust into his chest, keeps pushing him further down. The circle near the snake standing above also breaks, and the snake, now free, flees from there. The demons standing behind tremble watching this scene.
