After tracing every recent receipt tied to shops that still existed today, Faust finally arrived at the last location.

For some reason, the receipt listed a single scented candle purchased from the church.
That alone was strange enough, considering churches did not normally sell candles in the first place.
As Faust stepped inside, she was greeted by a dimly lit chamber. Church attendants moved about the hall, sweeping the floors, mopping the tiles, and tending to rows of candles under stained glass windows.
The atmosphere was calm.
Faust slowly glanced around the church interior. Wooden pews lined the chamber in perfect order, while the scent of incense wafted in the air. At the very center stood a large statue of the Holy Mother.

A scented candle.
Purchased eighty years ago.
From this very church.
Faust's eyes narrowed slightly before she approached one of the priests quietly tending to the candles near the altar.
