Her skin slowly turned brighter, her eyes opened up and she whispered, "Yerkis. Where is Yerkis?"
He knew that name, Aster too. Zephyr could recall the name as well, they knew it was the boy they saw in the visions.
Aurora put him on her chest, Astrid smiled and held him close, "Yerkis. You are welcome home." Astrid said.
Aurora chipped in, "Wait I'm sorry to be of a concern but this baby is just a few hours old, why does it feel like it's seven months? And I think we need to check to see if he's fully healthy before he leaves the lab."
Xander turned to her, "Aurora, there's no need for that. He already took his mother's life force, he's complete and whole."
Doctor Aurora answered back, "But still I insist. We need to know why he caused the glow and why he came out now."
Astrid responded, "No Aurora. Thank you but no. This is a new born baby and I don't want anyone taking even a needle towards his arms or body. Help get the placenta out please."
Aurora exhaled and said, "Fine." Xander could sense her anger hidden in silence.
He asked, "Are you upset over what she just said. You know she's the mother of the baby."
Aurora remained silent. She picked up the place at and placed it in a medical bag. She gave it to Aster. She took herself out of the room.
Xander and the others remained quiet, Galen watched Aurora walk out and knew immediately something went wrong.
He walked into the room, he saw both the mother and the baby alive. "Good, what's wrong with Aurora?"
Aster replied, "Nothing, she's just a bit moody. We need to leave now, let's go."
Two hours later, they leave the lab and they get to the house. Galen watched little Yerkis sleep.
It's a week after she gave birth, they all noticed the abnormal and paranormal activity happenings around them ever since Yerkis came into the family.
Galen knew this child wasn't normal, he watched him manifest some strange powers and to his profound knowledge the only creature he knew could do that was the quantum hydra.
Solstice watched through his mirror, he said to Apex. "Could it be deemed possible that the boy took on from the powers of the creature Apex?"
"Possibly, the father got possessed after all. He's manifesting the early stage of his abilities."
Solstice turned to him, "Is he suppose to be left to live then?"
Apex looked at the mirror, "Let's see him at age one. When he clocks a year then we'll see all his sides."
"A year? That's too far for me."
"Solstice he's a little baby. A child. Let him leave, I'll be meeting with Xander soon and I'll keep my eyes on the child as well."
"Alright then. Until later."
Yerkis laid on the little bed, Luke and Lily sat around him. His eyes glow, Luna noticed it. "His eyes are glowing!"
Astrid turned to him, "Just like the bump I had."
She took her phone to her ears, "Aster? His eyes glowed for the third time today."
A turmoil hit the house and the lab. Xander knew the double force of himself and Yerkis cause this. He looked it wouldn't get the attention of Solstice, he could ask for the life of the child.
It's two years after the birth of Yerkis, Solstice summons Xander to the courts.
"Greetings Executioner. It's been a funny while since I've set my eyes on you. You are quite aware of the upcoming season, yes?"
"No, what is it?"
Solstice lit a candle and exhaled before speaking, "Well it is nearly time for the Zetares Etei Queito Fertisa."
"I beg your most considerate and deepest pardon. What is that you just called out of your mouth? Is that Latin or Roman?"
"It is the alignment of the power cosmos of the earth realms. A season where the powers of the lords can be triggered if they are not found on their seat or ultimate realm of power."
Xander understood what he said but didn't want to take it lightly. "So you are saying, I'll need to be here, to avoid whatever earth issues it may cause. What about Yerkis?"
"Same as him. He must stay here with you. Even Luna."
"That's serious, is there another way?"
"No there isn't. Also we will be having a council meeting with all the lords of each realm. You must present and so must the boy."
"Alright then. What's the date?" Xander asked.
"The first of November that is. It's always the first of that dreaded month, always the first."
"I see until then. That's in two weeks I guess. I'll alert the house."
Solstice smiled, "Very well then."
Xander turned around, willing to walk out of his presence. Solstice stopped him, "Xander? One more thing."
Xander held his frustrated excuse and turned back around to look at him once again. "Yes Solstice. What do you want now?"
Solstice exhaled and stared at him calmly, he said, "Xander, the alignment will be on for a whole year."
Xander's eyes widened, "A whole year? Did you just say a whole year? That can't be, I just got back and now I'm left with two weeks for a sudden family separation."
"Alexander Nova, you are a court lord now. You just place your emotions aside from your heart, your logical perspective is much needed here."
"I know that but then to a certain extent. I expect some form of family time. You know."
Solstice smiled lightly, "I understand. Just prepare for the council meeting and the alignment. If there's more to discuss, I'll let you know."
Xander responded, "Very well then."
Xander walked through the portal and appeared back at Earth X. He stood right in front of the field, at the front of the house.
He noticed his little nephew, Yerkis floating in the air. Xander ran into the house, he held him down to the ground. "What are you doing?" He asked in a low yet friendly tone.
