Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Locked in the Detention center

Chapter 3: Locked in the Detention Center

Uchiha Yo saw that although he had the upper hand in Taijutsu, he still couldn't decide the outcome, so he stopped and spoke.

"Uchiha Tensei, I am a Ninja. Ninjutsu is my main strength. You're finished here."

After saying that, he immediately began forming hand signs.

Tensei watched Uchiha Yo form hand signs and, without the slightest hesitation, also quickly formed hand signs while speaking.

"You're right, a Ninja should use Ninjutsu."

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

"Fire Release: Giant Fireball Technique!"

Both sides released them almost simultaneously. The two fireballs collided, and a wave of scorching heat surged forth.

Heh, my Ninjutsu was directly bestowed by the system, with proficiency and technique maxed out. You're just a Genin; trying to compete with me is pure self-torture, Tensei chuckled inwardly.

Gradually, Uchiha Yo began to fall into a disadvantage in the Ninjutsu clash. His Great Fireball started to shrink. Seeing his opponent falter, Tensei immediately increased his power. In an instant, the Giant Fireball completely overwhelmed the Great Fireball and rushed straight toward Uchiha Yo.

"How is this possible!!!"

Uchiha Yo stared blankly as the fireball rushed toward him, frozen in place.

At this moment, the monitoring Anbu, seeing that a life was at stake, stopped watching and used Body Flicker to rush out and save Uchiha Yo.

The Giant Fireball hit the trees behind, blasting several of them apart.

"I... I... I actually lost? Lost to a piece of trash?" The rescued Uchiha Yo still couldn't believe he had lost to Tensei, who had never received formal training.

"You two brats. Your Uchiha clan is originally responsible for the Village's security, yet here you are breaking the law. I won't let you off this time," the Anbu captain spoke directly.

"He's the one who started it..." Tensei was about to explain, but the Anbu captain tied them both up and then locked them in separate cells in the temporary Detention Center.

In the Hokage Office, the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, was processing a large pile of documents.

"Sigh, since big brother passed away, and the first generation of various Villages have died one after another, the second generation leaders of the three major Ninja Villages have started localized probing wars against Konoha. The Ninja World is about to lose its peace. Fortunately, the Sand Village didn't participate."

Tobirama was reflecting in the office when an Anbu suddenly appeared before him. Looking at the Anbu kneeling before him, who was monitoring Tensei, he asked directly.

"What's wrong? Did something happen to that kid?"

"Yes, Hokage-sama. That kid and a member of the Uchiha had a major fight in the Village, even using Ninjutsu," the Anbu captain answered truthfully.

Tobirama rubbed his forehead and sighed.

"Sigh, what a troublesome brat. Several Ninja Villages are restless, and he jumps out too. I wonder where he stole those Ninjutsu from."

"Oh well, this time I'll prove to big brother that Madara wasn't a good person, and his son is no different. Since I can't stop him from getting stronger anyway, I'll just let him be. I want to see how much of a commotion he can cause."

"From today on, the Anbu no longer needs to monitor that kid. Go to the borders to gather intelligence," Senju Tobirama ordered the Anbu Ninja after making his decision.

"And those two kids being held..."

"Keep them locked up for two days to teach them a lesson."

"Yes." With a shush, the Anbu disappeared from the office.

Watching the Anbu leave, Tobirama felt another headache coming on. "Just letting this brat grow up definitely won't work. I need to find someone extremely loyal to Konoha to teach him. Let me think, who should I find?"

Soon, Tobirama thought of his disciple, Hiruzen Sarutobi. "This disciple is extremely loyal to Konoha and has enough strength. Although he's still young and hasn't led anyone yet, everyone has a first time. He's the most suitable candidate to guide the boy."

"No time like the present," Tobirama immediately sent someone to summon Hiruzen Sarutobi.

At this moment, the imprisoned Tensei directly summoned the system, opened the mall, and exchanged for a One-Tomoe Sharingan.

[Ding! Exchange successful.]

Suddenly, Tensei felt his mind go blank, as if it had almost ceased to function, like a dead person's. Then, two special surges of energy flowed from around his brain toward his eyes.

"Ah!!" In an instant, Tensei felt a throbbing pain in his head and a stinging sensation in his eyes. He closed his eyes and clutched his head tightly to buffer the pain.

After a minute, the pain vanished. Tensei knew the Sharingan had been activated. He slightly opened his eyes; his originally black pupils were replaced by a crimson field, and next to the red pupil, a single black tomoe rested quietly.

Although there was no mirror, he could imagine what he looked like.

Tensei looked at a fly buzzing in the cell; suddenly, the trajectory of its flapping wings became clearly visible. Seeing this, a slight smile appeared at the corner of Tensei's mouth.

"Sharingan, oh Sharingan. With you, I too can pursue the path of the strong."

Meanwhile, in the Hokage Office, Tobirama was looking at the disciple before him. At this time, Hiruzen Sarutobi was still a young man in his twenties, and his strength had not yet reached its peak.

"Monkey, guess why I called you here this time."

Hiruzen Sarutobi thought for a moment and said, "Is it about the probing from the major Ninja Villages at the border?"

Senju Tobirama shook his head. "You don't need to worry about the border issues. Even if war breaks out, we of the older generation will handle it. This time, I've called you for a mission."

"A mission? What mission?"

"You know Uchiha Tensei, right?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded. Uchiha Madara's son was famous in the Village; it would be hard not to know him.

"Monkey, haven't you never led a newcomer before? I plan to have you lead that kid."

"You want me to take him as my disciple?" Hiruzen Sarutobi looked surprised.

"That's not necessary. Just treat him as your teammate. I want you to teach him while slowly guiding him. I want to see if, after gaining power, he will end up like Madara or like Kagami."

"What if he turns out like Madara?" Hiruzen Sarutobi asked cautiously.

"If he's like Madara, humph! Don't blame this old man for sending him to see Madara directly."

"Monkey, that kid is currently locked in the Detention Center jail. Go pick him up in two days. From now on, the boy is in your hands. Don't disappoint me!"

"Yes, Teacher."

Two days later, only Tensei remained in the prison. As for Uchiha Yo, he had been bailed out by the Moderate Faction a day ago. Only Tensei was being targeted, and no one from the Martial Faction came to get him.

"Damn it! Still not out yet. This is definitely that old schemer Senju Tobirama's doing. You old fox, just you wait. Let's see how long you can keep jumping around. Just wait until I grow stronger. Once I do, I'll hang around in front of you every day, letting you know what it feels like to hate me but be unable to get rid of me."

Just as he finished complaining, a figure appeared outside the cell looking at him. Tensei looked at the young man and said.

"If you're looking for someone, try elsewhere. I'm the only one here." Tensei thought the other person was looking for someone and just pointed randomly. After all, given his status as Madara's son, who would bother looking for him?

Even after Tensei spoke, the young man remained motionless, staring at him. "Why hasn't he left?" Tensei walked up to the young man and tilted his head to look at him. He looked quite familiar, as if he had seen him somewhere before, but he couldn't quite remember where.

Then he waved his hand in front of the young man's eyes. "Eh, no reaction. Is he blind? Or both deaf and blind? How pitiful."

Hiruzen Sarutobi's face darkened with black lines upon hearing Tensei's words. He spoke directly, "I am neither deaf nor blind. I'm here to take you out. Follow me." After saying that, he opened the cell door and walked out first.

"Here for me? What the heck, did he get the wrong person? Whatever, I'll get out first!"

Thus, Tensei followed the young man out of the Detention Center. As he walked, he kept staring at the young man. Who on earth was this? He looked familiar, his voice was familiar, and he had even let him out.
