Chapter 45 - What Priam Decides

He prepared the document over two days.

Not because it was complicated — the structure was the same he had used with Hector and then with the regional meeting. Climate first. Then the three independent regional responses. Then the reports from the harbor network. Then the Carian relocation knowledge. Then the coastal villages question, framed as a supply network consolidation item, with the Carian methodology attached.

The preparation took two days because he wrote it three times.

The first version was the version that came naturally — precise, dense, built for someone who thought the way he did. He read it back and understood that it was built for someone who had already been thinking about these things for months. Priam had not.

He wrote it again.
