WILLA
It wasn't until I tasted the saltiness of the tears that I realized I was crying.
I wiped at my cheeks angrily with the back of my palm, scowling at the wall in front of me. It wasn't as if I desperately wanted to be accepted by those women. I knew not everyone would love who I was.
But I didn't realize it would be that much hatred. I sniffled as more tears trickled down my cheeks. Despite the fact that I kept wiping them away, more kept coming.
"Funny hearing you cry," a cool voice said.
I froze, turning sharply sideways, eyes flickering across the darkened corner. I was sure I was the only one here. I hadn't picked up any scent coming from this direction, which was why I believed it would be a good spot to let out my emotions.
I guess I was wrong.
I quickly wiped the rest of my tears, fanning my face. I turned to leave, but the voice stopped me again.
