A small smile curved his lips, as he seemed to be starving for the warmth for a long time.
However, the moment he leaned against his palm, a faint, subtle trace of Earl's scent that mimicked a mesmerizing blend of sweet honey and fresh peony hit his heightened senses.
It was a very faint scent, but to Zion, it was loud enough to soothe the chaotic storm raging in his head, especially after he had to face his father's horrific ultimatum.
However, contrary to his action, Earl blinked, as he seemed entirely bewildered by the reaction.
