A week later, the crew was complete.
Marcus the mechanic.
Lena the drift queen.
Devon Carter — hacker.
Tyler Cole — adrenaline addict.
We sat in the garage surrounded by engines and tools.
Tyler pointed at me.
"So billionaire boy… why are you still street racing?"
I leaned against the workbench.
"Because it reminds me I'm alive."
Marcus laughed.
"Fair enough."
Lena tossed me a soda.
